Best reason to take your kids to a baseball game:
1. Teaching them to keep score
2. Extra hands to carry beer and peanuts

Last day for teams to tinker without having to risk losing ,for the most part. Last game that doesn't matter .
We get mizzou as our first sec series so that should get us off to a good start in conference. I think our team is really solid. We may not have 4 guys that can hit over 15 homers this year but everyone in our lineup can go yard and most can hit between 8 and 10 probably.

Gator fans definitely don't have this thought today.

I'll be tuning in to Gata and Fla. St. for sure before the LSU game.

I thought it was funny that the team were playing (xavier) is 2nd in rpi, I think. They aren't even ranked in the top 25 polls and don't even have a good record.
That shows how flawed rpi is right now. They've had an extremely tough non conference schedule this year but you would think that a team would need to win most of those tough games to get that high of an rpi. Rpi gives too much credit for playing a good team and losing. Rpi is also too negatively affected by beating a bad team.
A win should never bring you down ,unless it's because someone else moved up,that's not how rpi works though and it's fllawed mainly for those two reasons, especially early in the year.

Any Alabama and Ole Miss fans feel good about tonight? Starting to bet on college baseball.

It's crazy y'all have played 5 more games than us when we have only had 1 canceled.. but I looked at your schedule..
lots of Saturday doubleheaders and multiple weekday games..
Anyone analyzed this strategy? I assume this would be good for a team, especially getting reps to some of the younger guys..

No. I think we lose more to UAB in Birmingham than to a better Troy program in Troy. And UAB clipped Auburn last week at Regions.
