re: Peppers - What are your favorites?

If you can handle the heat, Reapers are hard to beat. Hot AF, but have a great taste IMO. Great in hot sauces and you can adjust the heat level with sweet additions like honey, carrots, etc. I grow a couple dozen super hots and mainly make hot sauces.

For general cooking for the family I'd avoid any super hots. I'd go with shishitos, or sweet bonnets for something a little different. My sweet bonnets were super productive last year. For slightly spicy variety try out sugar rush peach peppers, cool looking peppers and taste great.

Another disappointing loss takes us to our worst start in SEC play in program history. 13 walks didn't help.
Not sure how this gets turned around at this point.

Losing 2 weekend starting pitchers hasn't helped, but there are several issues plaguing this year's team.

They showed some heart to take the lead in the top of the 9th, only to have this happen. Pitching has been god awful lately, 2 walks and a HBP in the bottom of the ninth after taking the lead is devastating.

Not only got swept, blown out, 20-62 over the 6 games, run ruled 2 times (should've been 3 but we kept it within 9 until the 9th and then lost 17-2).

Going to be tough to bounce back after the whooping we've taken recently, but no time to rest, FSU on Tuesday, then Ole Miss this weekend (they just put up 40 against Mizzou this past weekend).

Pitching and hitting have been trash in SEC play, I know we have injuries but gotta do better than we’ve done the last two weekends, we haven’t even been remotely competitive.

Another good win, another run rule win. Going into the weekend hot, let's hope they keep it up.
The bullpen really stepped up last night, and we definitely took advantage of a bunch of free bases, scoring the first 8 runs with only 2 hits :wha:

Who TF has Florida #6 after last weekend?

Great moral victory last night, had some great clutch hits and pitching stepped up in a few tight spots to seal the 6th run rule victory this year.
Gotta keep it up tonight and roll into the weekend on a high note.

Definitely a long season and still have high hopes for this team. It really sucks getting beat like we did this weekend but hopefully it fires the team up. Cant pout about it for too long.

Gators hand the Noles their first loss of the year :dude:
Freshman pitcher Barberi is going to be good, looking forward to seeing him the next few years. Gators took advantage several free bases and a couple of miscues from FSU and played well all around last night. FSU has several fantastic plays in the field to stop us from really opening it up.

On to Knoxville, hoping we can go and make a statement up there.

Bragging about RPI wins this early is kinda small brain.

Yeah, I thought that was a bit “cringe”.

Gator fans definitely don't have this thought today.

It was against 0-9 Harvard, but Gators did what they were supposed to do.
Won the first 2 by a combined 19-0, then went on to score 22 in game 3. Had some bright spots pitching, we'll need more of that for sure.

Now the gauntlet starts, looking forward to seeing what this team is made of.

After this weekend UF is in a meat grinder, top 10 FSU midweek, then series against #1 Tennessee, #3 UGA, FSU midweek again, then #17 Ole Miss, #12 Vandy, and FSU again.

Got the W last night against a pretty good FAU team, pitching looked great, the bats really need to get hot before next week.

And we drop another one, this one was ugly, a 10 run loss to UCF.
Up next is 10-1 Florida Atlantic, who just beat UCF and held them to 3 runs.
Then what should be a tune up series against 0-6 Harvard before we start the gauntlet of FSU mid week and then SEC play against the Vols.

Didn't look particularly good Sunday, pitching really struggled, giving up 10 free bases (6 BB and 4 HBP).
I'll take the series win, always good to beat the Canes. We need the bullpen to get a little better to make a run.
