I have no clue how everyone else feels about him, but I don’t like Nitkowski.

That’s what MulkeyMetryMaulerMan will never understand. I will start threads when we beat someone or accomplish something, or debate about résumés and whatnot, but I almost never make predictions or just start a thread about how good UGA is.
Sports are fickle and you never truly know what will happen. You can make your best guess, but guaranteeing something is just dumb. The closest thing I’ve made to a prediction was in this thread when I said that on paper, there’s no reason to think UGA won’t have a good baseball team this year.
You could say the same thing about A&M going into the year, but look how they turned out. I’m never gonna start a thread claiming we are gonna win the SEC or anything, but I will debate with people who make their arguments based on flawed logic, such as “UGA will suck because they lost Condon”. Maybe UGA will suck, but the argument is poorly constructed and uninformed.

Not even close.
He never won anything. Had inflated stats because his dad was the coach and let him shoot 40 times per game (really).
Wasn’t much of a drop off for LSU after he left. His dad sacrificed team success so his son could collect stats.
Kareem averaged 29 PTS on
17 shots/gm in college. Imagine if he took 37 per game like Pete, easily would’ve averaged 50+ per game.
Instead he won 3 national championships because he had a coach who actually wanted to win
All of the above is the reason Pete was mostly underwhelming in the NBA. Great player for sure but only finished Top 15 in MVP voting once. Several dozen players could’ve replicated what he did if they got 40 shots a game

As someone whose team has 5 combined CFP/Final 4 appearances, I would say it’s more impressive to win your way to a Final 4 than be invited to a 12 team playoff.
Considering your team has only accomplished the latter (and nothing beyond that), I would say that you’re not quite qualified to compare the two :dunno:
