RIP

That sucks he was pretty entertaining

He was in bad health for a while so not that surprising unfortunately

Remember his Florida loss melts very well

At least he can rest well remembering the Vols beating the gators and that the gators are stuck with sun belt billy for the foreseeable future

Rip

His “piss on you Lane Kiffin” video always made me laugh.

That's sad. I used to watch his videos every now and then. He would sometimes allude to being in not great health occasionally. Hope his family is doing ok.

In death he figured out that football is nothing in comparison to whats really important. He wasted a lot of time on it.

Really hate to hear that. The guy was entertaining as all hell. Glad he got to see Tennessee playing at a higher level before he passed. His reactions to losses back in the day were gold. RIP to a Vol legend.

His love of Tennessee football and the friendships he made with others is what kept him alive this long.

Terrible post from a terrible person.

Prayers sent.

Oh no...

He will be missed as will his posts. I found many of them entertaining.

Rest in Peace

If you are trying to make a comparison, you are far from accurate.

I first found BVD almost a decade ago. There was a video of him losing his mind and cursing Florida. It made me feel good because it was during one of the (many) lowest points of Florida football I have experienced. While I may have felt bad, this guy clearly felt worse. But I listened to a few more videos and realized he was a very likeable guy. I wasn't a regular listener of his shows or anything, but I did listen to quite a few. So much so that when Florida lost to Tennessee in 2022 I immediately thought "Well, at least BVD is going to be happy."

Even though we didn't share a fandom, there was something I really enjoyed about hearing him talk about his love for the game and his team. Sad to hear that he has passed.
