re: Russell Brand has been charged with rape and sexual assault...

It's impossible to defend yourself from hearsay charges from that long ago. Do you remember your day to day from 1999? I sure as heck don't.
They are surely arresting him solely on an accusation alone.
Whole thing seems suspicious.

Folks appear to be oddly invested in predicting Nintendo's failure. It's super weird.
What people don't get is Nintendo is extremely sound financially. They don't have any debt and they keep large cash reserves. That's why they can have a mega flop generation like the Wii-U and keep going strong.
A ton of companies are up to their eyeballs in debt and if they hit a bump they are on the verge of bankruptcy.

The fact that billions of dollars of tax payer money goes to building these stadiums should be a national outrage.
This is an issue that should easily unite both right and left as it's such an absolutely irresponsible and gross use of taxpayer money that serves no other purpose but to enrich the already rich.

Of course he can do comedy, that's how he got the part.
Just like how his love of making lists got him the part in Schindler's List.

People who own and defend pit bulls are as much a cancer on society as pit bulls.
If you were able to Thanos snap all pit bulls and their owners out of existence everything in the world would improve.

Pretty damn terrible imo, but the OJ gag was great.
re: Can we talk about this Karl Jobst lawsuit, he lost against Billy Mitchell
Posted by StansberryRules on 4/3/25 at 12:27 pm
Agreed. Mitchell is an obvious liar and scumbag.
Jobst letting his entire channel get sidetracked going after him probably wasn't s good idea, his regular content was much better.
Some people are grudge holders and he probably just couldn't let Mitchells bullshite go, even though it was bad for him.

Sounds like they wanna generate more entry fee revenue and are spinning it like some sort of SJW bs.

They cry about Elon but Democrats are the big money party.
2004 was the last election cycle Republicans actually outspent Democrats.
Democrats have been the big money party for 20 years now. And the margins aren't even close.

I just saw the little mobile app they have for the Switch 2 versions of the Zelda game. It's very existence offends me. Using it is like going into the best steak restaurant in the world and someone is ordering it extra well done and covering it in ketchup and a1.
Way to completely fing ruin the entire point of those games.

They might as well renew them indefinitely, network TV is effectively dead. There's nothing to replace them with. What was the last new show that was a hit for the networks?

Yeah this won’t be a Wii-U flop but it’s not going to hit switch 1 numbers.
Yeah, the pricing is def. going to matter. Casual gamers already have a Switch, economic times are not great for a lot of people. And if hte kid is still playing and having fun with the Switch gonna put a big dent on the sales numbers, at least initially.
I don't think anybody sane predicts a Wii-U level flop but I'm just not seeing how Switch 2 comes even remotely to the level of success Switch had at this point.
The sticker shock is gonna be there for a lot of people, especially on the games. Every single console that has released that most people thought was overpriced has struggled or flopped. Both Sony and Nintendo should have learned this lesson but they seem to convince themselves the masses will buy their shite at any price.
The odds of me personally getting one are very high, after all I've got every home console Nintendo has ever made except the Wii-U, but it will probably be a few years when they've actually built up a decent library of games and the price has perhaps come down a tad.

Just saw the physical game carts don't contain the game. Nintendo was the last retro compatible holdout, RIP. Sad times.
Real game cards still exist. They are just introducing a new concept for Switch 2, basically a physical "key" to a digital game, so you can use it as physical game but the actual game still needs to be downloaded.
I'd imagine the big first party Nintendo titles will all be the "real" variety.

Well, it's probably been discussed but the FromSoftware game is basically multiplayer focused, much like Nightreign, it's basically PvPvE, you are in a world but competing against other players.
Kind of a strange thing to do as an exclusive, I get it as an Elden Ring spin off but this immediately kills my hype for it.
Having "Bloodborne 2" would have had a ton of people buy the Switch 2 just to play. I'm not interested in these multi-player first FromSoftware games really.

Making the Tour a paid game is something only Nintendo would do. It's basically 1-2 Switch all over again, if anyone even remembers that piece of crap.
Outside of the new Donkey Kong, absolutely nothing of note. It's basically just a bigger, better Switch with better tech specs.
I'll get one eventually I'm sure.
Didn't realize the FromSoftware game was an exclusive. That will certainly move units. That's when I'll probably get mine.

Yes, the new working class voters who now vote Republican are low-propensity ones. Need to find a way to get them more regularly engaged and reach out to.

The last Wisconsin supreme Court seat went Dem by like 10% just 2 years ago. The state is still light blue, especially without Trump on the ballot.
