I see how tight USCe played Bama and LSU. What happened or why did Ole Miss blow them out? Both on offense and defense. Not trying to antagonize.

Btw what a home slate Cocky has had this year.

one of the longest standing traditions of Gamecock football is always having at least one game a season where it starts bad and just never goes right - that's what happened against Ole Miss -

most Gamecocks saw the Ole Miss showing coming after we beat some MAC school 50-7 in the most efficient offensive output all season - with QB2 taking snaps while QB1 was healing an ankle - and then have a bye week - QB1 returns - it was the obvious time for one of those rough performances -

If we had an offense we would have won 40-3…

South Carolina wasn’t scoring that day

If we had a half way decent offensive coordinator we would be undefeated right now

We’ve been bipolar this year. There are whole games or whole halves where we look like complete world beaters. Then there are other complete games or whole halves that we look like we’d be lucky to win 4 games all year.

Ole Miss is good, especially on defense. Cocky had some tough breaks early and without a threat in the passing game, the Ole Miss d just smothered them.

Each game has a life of its own.
