Do any other nearby states to Louisiana offer in state tuition to out of state students if you meet a certain academic standard? I don’t really want my kid going to LSU as they will have grown up in Baton Rouge their whole life.

Weird. When Shell Convent Refinery closed they said it was because they wanted to focus on the chemical side of the business. The Norco facility has chemical faculty adjacent/integrated with the refinery at that site.

They’re two different sites. TD is a message board. TexAgs is focused on A&M sports with articles, recruiting, highlight videos, a daily web based podcast mostly behind a paywall…it really isn’t a message board or no longer is.

Playing off the other thread abt what SEC school one would go to. I hear Louisiana kids going to UGA, UT-Knox, Ole Miss…for UF being an upper echelon academic school I never hear of anyone going there.

My company used to be a supplier, not a sponsor of the Super Bowl every year. Whenever we would market what we did for the Super Bowl we had to call it the ‘big game’. To use the Super Bowl phrase think you have to pay or be a sponsor.

Kemper County, MS for the construction of Southern Power Plant Ratcliffe. Closest town was Meridian which was abt 45 minutes away.
