Here's how every AP Poll voter voted this week

Rece Davis, host of ESPN GameDay, an alumnus of Alabama mind you, put UGA at #3 for the second week in a row. He put FSU #1.
I think Rece is tired of hearing about Georgia. Kirk Herbstreit sure showed his perfunctory and disdainful attitude toward the Dawgs by choosing Alabama to win not only the SEC again, but the national championship this year (still could happen -- they're not out of it).
Oh, well. My feelings ain't hurt; just curious as to why some of these voters vote the way they do.
BRETT McMURPHY -- voted FSU #1, Texas #2, and UGA #3.
Anyhow, take a look at the chart below -- expand it as best you can to see everything.

Most everyone is sick of pre-season polls (largely based off opinion) setting the rankings for the season. Rece probably believes FSU has looked the best this season with one of the best wins.

his bama butthurt is really showing through bad.
-If you want to put UGA 3rd by claiming that this is based on who has accomplished the most to date so far, I get it. In fact there are two other dudes who have us 3rd, BUT they have Texas and FSU 1/2 because those teams have marquee wins so far. Fine, I can understand that.
-But Reece has Michigan 2nd. If you're voting based on what you've done so far, FSU/Texas are the only teams with a case to be higher. WTF has michigan done?

cool, no issue with that.
Now explain Michigan being above us.

It's who they think has done the most to date, nothing more
If it makes you feel any better Kirk Bohls out of Austin has Texas #4 and FSU #3 behind UGA with Michigan at #1
Michigan and UGA haven't played anyone to date
Although I think both are really good, the voters want to see these teams pushed a little

Why should UGA be above FSU, based on this season so far? Or above Texas for that matter. I’m ok with rewarding the teams that have actually beaten somebody decent.

I don't see anyone arguing against htat. the problem is his ballot makes zero logical sense consistency-wise. If he's rewarding what teams have done, by all means put FSU/UT 1/2 in some order. No problem! But you can't say that in one breath, then in another breath have Michigan at 2.

Chuck Landon with Alabama ahead of Texas at 7 and 10. He had Bama at #2 and Texas at #12 last week
There's voters out there that even have Colorado ahead of Alabama

He has Michigan ahead of UGA because of an “unproven QB”
I would say Michigan has an unproven program though

Thankfully those rankings don’t mean quite as much this time next year because 12 teams get in the playoffs.

I have no problem if someone wants to put t.u. 1 and FSU 2 ahead of us. I also have no problem with anyone that wants to put UGA and UM 1 and 2. It will shake itself out.

JetDawg you take outliers way too seriously.
Look at the amount of voters that picked Georgia.

I don't get the Iowa love. I mean, you have to vote for someone 25th I guess, but that offense is barely averaging 21 ppg, and that's against Utah State and an increasingly hapless Iowa State.
Penn State is going to nuke them from orbit in 2 weeks.

All the Burnt Orange and Maize block M's and red USC's...starting to feel warm and cozy in my black heart, like the mid 2000's again.
