you either won your conference tournament or didn't get in
. During CM’s time, there was no conference tournament, and only one team could per conference could be in it. We actually won or tied for 1st in 1974, 75, and 76. The NCAA did not expand to 64 teams until the 1980’s....

Agree. Kansas is loaded, and most of these “experts” list them first. Doesn’t matter at this point. We will learn where we stand by the end of Thanksgiving weekend, as will lots of other contenders and pretenders....
To me it’s UNC, Clemson, FSU and Va Tech
Virginia over Va Tech. We want THE state school, not the Auburns in the ACC. I guarantee you the top priorities are UNC and Virginia. Clemson and FSU after that just to make sure Florida and South Carolina have their Auburns to put up with. ...
with taking 8-10 guys and calling it a team.
Well, Arkansas had no players returning and I think lost most if not all recruits, so that means portal. ...
Revenue sharing, Saban’s plan and recommendation, will be here in a couple of years, and that will ease reliance on collectives. Of course boosters will still boost, as in the “keep it down home Cuz” days at Auburn, but the revenue sharing plan brings requirements for players- just like professional...
Article from Kansas City paper on the Rant today about talks between SEC and Kansas. Makes sense. They are “contiguous” (Sankey’s important factor) being right above Oklahoma and beside Mizzou. Most on that thread thread hate the idea, but I like that move as I like UNC and Virginia as our top addit...
This year I’m risking the divorce.
It’s worth the gamble. I’ve had season tickets before marriage and through 35 years of marriage. She used to go too. Now I think she is happy just to get me out of the house. ...

And they never notice guys like Noah Clowney who don’t play in the prominent AAU teams or go to the sports academies like IMG, Prolific Prep, etc. He just played at his local public school and a local AAU team. ...

Same here, especially since we play a style like most NBA teams. That's why so many players want to play for Oats - he prepares them for the NBA. Yet, I see here all the time people hating on the NBA. They and the NFL have a regulated employment system, where players are under contract and can't jus...
You call Kirby's 1-5 record against Saban a big piece of chicken. Kirby needs to kiss the Rooster’s rings and say thank you for making me sort of important....
If he goes strictly on NIL he will be elsewhere
I read somewhere that UNC paid RJ Davis $2mil to return. We don’t need to go there. We do have Aiden Sherrell coming in, Nelson coming back, snd probably Stevenson too, so we have some good inside players- and all of those can shoot 3...
I like the BJCC but it’d be a lot nicer to play marquee opponents at home.
Good to have good teams in Tuscaloosa for non conference, but the CM Newton Classic over Christmas Holidays when students are not in Tuscaloosa always needs to do better than Liberty this past year. Arizon...
Reading the KState fans comments they all say he is a selfish, me first guy. I think I change my mind and would rather keep Mo D
Absolutely! I remember Oats saying Mo D has never complained about anything. He’s unselfish. Kaluma had a chance to sign with us last year. That ship has...

I would not take him. He’s playing one team against the others for money. I hope Nate tells hum to get lost and signs Oyenso from Kentucky. I like him better anyway....
know it’s all about money now, but isn’t there still something to be said for creating value for yourself by playing on a good team and getting media visibility?
With Sherrell coming in -and possibly Cliff O- plus Nelson returning and Stevenson growing, his playing time would be re...
I could see Mo Dioubate moving to point guard similar to how Herb Jones was used here.
Mo did bring the ball up lots last year. He can run and dribble. I agree that's a skill he can develop. Needs to get a couple of shots he can hit too....
