They probably got very favorable regionals and supers that made look more all world and got exposed in Omaha.

Very doubtful, but Pierce seems to have them headed in the right direction, at least out of the cellar of the AAC.
He also cares deeply about the program which means he might stick around for a few years.

I believe State has been to Supers in 6 of the last 10 seasons now. The only exception being the dry spell during the last 4 years of Lemonis.
