Auburn seems like they peaked in the regular season. Hope they get their mojo back. That Michigan defense gives some hope they can get offense efficiency back up.

Yikes. Auburn may have peaked in the regular season. Hope they get that mojo back.

Auburn at one time had the highest adjusted efficiency ever, I believe.

re: What if Beard had great players?

Beard is a great coach. And the SEC is currently loaded with great coaches.

Goldin (FAU)

Goldin was a freshman at Texas Tech before going to FAU.

The graphic is just for where they started. Another interesting graphic would be where these players were last year.

I'm surprised Duke only has 1 transfer.

Well I think at least 2 are freshman.
I’ve seen where viewership is up for the entire tournament. It’s also the most ever SEC teams ever. SEC better be getting the calls!!!

Hard to not like/respect Painter and Izzo in this era.

One of the comments on X said that 4 of the 5 for Purdue are also from Indiana. It is impressive.

It's an impressive showing!

If Ole Miss wins, that’s 7 SEC teams in the Sweet 16. Damn impressive!

You went and found a tweet from 4 years ago to find one clip where someone caught Bo after your dumbass thread a couple days ago?

It got 4 likes in those 4 years though! And 1 retweet!

That really is amazing, still most impressed that 14 made it in a single year. What’s the prior record for a conference in one year? Either by teams or as percentage to adjust for conference growth (note: 0.875 of SEC teams made it this year).

quote:

The SEC set a new record by placing 14 of its 16 teams in the NCAA Tournament bracket, besting the previous mark of 11 set by the Big East in 2011 when it also had 16 members. By percentage (87.5%), the SEC's NCAA Tournament haul is also the best ever, topping the 77.7% mark posted when the nine-team Big East put seven schools in the 1991 bracket.

Is impressive. Just 9 years ago the SEC had only 3 bids. There are top tier coaches all over the Conference and lots of $$$ backing the teams and conference now.
The “monster” wall is like 37’ though.
Now do fence height! Not sure how many have a “green monster” or something similar. I know Auburn does in left field.

It is kinda cool to use AI like you did.
Losing the last 3 of 4 games was disappointing. It was a hell of league this year and knew there would be losses. Just sucks it was the last 3 of 4.

Potentially have to play louisville in Lexington

I keep seeing this brought up. But we got to play in Birmingham for the first two rounds just 2 years ago. And we got smoked by 1 Seed Houston.
The story is kinda f’d up. But the “tweets” (are they still called that) all over about the story are pretty funny.
Hahaha. I do think you number is off for Auburn and actually should be higher.
