UTrans got fingerblasted at home by UGA, beat Florida’s incompetent backup QB, beat Vanderbilt by 3 and Arkansas by 10 after a 4th quarter TD…
Ran a train though!

Thankfully LSU you showed out this past season against their gauntlet of a schedule

LSU doesn’t celebrate “running a train” with zero hardware to show for it like UTrannies and Aggies.
Identical fanbases in different colors.

Reminds me of the past football season when UTrans was dead arse last in SEC SOS and UTrannies swore it was just a coincidence
It’s not a coincidence. We run the conference.

Hard to celebrate running a train when the train was ran on YOU

*celebrating nothing but regular season wins the past 20 years*
UTrannies = Aggies

is this luck of the scheduling
Texas runs this conference now. Sankey does what he is told. Or that's what I'm told.

Seems like you should buy a billboard for this grave injustice.

"Thus far," LSU has played
Missouri - awful team
@ #1 Texas
Mississippi St
@ #14 Oklahoma
@ #11 Auburn
#18 Alabama
So three road series against top 15 teams is "the easiest schedule in the SEC"? Your math isn't mathing there bud

We haven’t lost two SEC series at home to unranked competition

Q: When are schedules made?
A: Before the Season.
It's impossible to know how teams will play, especially in baseball, but as I have already shown, the schedules for LSU and Texas are about as comparable as they can be, using actual results on the field.
Are they identical? Nope, they are not. Even if we played the 9 same teams + each other, some of the matchups would be at home, and some would be on the road.
But keep complaining and yelling at the clouds..

Well that’s a stupid way to look at schedules based on preseason polls. And I don’t believe it was a conspiracy at all. Just that Texas was fortunate the way it landed. It happens.

I'm not complaining, I just responded to a dumb post. It wasn't your post so not sure why you care to defend it

My lord for a bunch of fans claiming “it just means more” and “the SEC is superior” I would have NEVER guessed how much whining, excuse making, and pansies y'all are. Win your games, take care of business, stfu and you too will compete for conference titles in the SEC. Guess what the majority of sec teams had a shot in football and only Georgia could beat us and in baseball we have won every series so quit making excuses and whining and grow a pair and beat us

Only teams fans that can talk trash is against Texas right now is Georgia fans and they earned it.
Everything else is just an excuse or whining.

We agree, it is a stupid way to look at it. However, if the idiots on here actually think Sankey or anyone else gave Texas a favorable schedule the only way to validate that would be using a preseason poll, which again is stupid and won’t pan out as teams actual results on the field will be much better or worse than the preseason poll, just like vandy in football last year.

If only there was a crystal ball or time travel machine where the schedule makers, a year or so ago, could’ve seen which teams would suck and which were good.
Texas strength of schedule is ranked 24th, which is about middle of the pack for SEC teams (see Nolan RPI rankings for full list).
Horns have beaten 4 top 10 teams and had 4 sweeps in SEC play, including Miss St on the road; maybe not their year but still a damned good program. And a sweep is tough regardless of who you’re playing (Missouri being lone exception).
Lots of baseball left to though with tough series vs aggy and Arkansas. But in the meantime not apologizing for schedule.

And you shouldn't. You play the schedule you have and Texas has a 3 game lead in the conference.

Still a lot of baseball to be played. Caution, aNm didn't look like the team that started out the season last week in Fayetteville. Should be a good series, but regardless, Texas has earned their ranking.

I've been paying attention to college sports since God was a boy. I never, not once, heard of an "easy conference schedule in the SEC" until Texas joined and started winning most of their games in Football & Baseball.

the television schedule looks similar
in year 1, texas has 12 televised games along with florida for the most, while preseason top 5 teams A&M and LSU only have 9 and 8.
