When you were a kid, what did you “want to be when you grew up”? Honest question.

He’ll get cut …..may stay on practice roster. He’ll never see the full $4.3M.

Maybe because he is so good at football, he doesn't need one.
Hence the 4th round pick of the draft.

Sounds like LSU and AU are still butthurt from the thrashing Stetson gave them.
Why else would they still be obsessing over Stetson? FYI from all reports Stetson was a good student who made excellent grades. His transfer from the jr college probably cost him some credits - it did my neighbors son- and his desire to play football probably affected his student load some semesters. He took the required number of courses to qualify to play and did well in them. Last I heard he is graduating next month.
When I was in college I changed my major as an undergrad and that change resulted in it taking longer for me to get my degree. There are lots of reason that Stetson took longer to get his degree. Its not important. Except to the fans of schools he humiliated. He was qualified to play, made the required grades and did well. The funny thing is that this is of so much interest to fans of schools that he utterly embarrassed.

“I thought they did such a great job at Georgia which makes it a little bit easier of an eval, a lot of the concepts that you’re going to try to ask guys to activate and execute,” McVay said. “He’ll get to learn under a great former UGA Bulldog, Super Bowl champ Matthew Stafford. It’ll be fun. We’re excited about getting to work with him. He was one of the guys we really targeted from the jump and fortunately we got him.”

No. He got a quality education, an SEC championship ring and TWO nationals championship rings. He got drafted by the NFL too.

The point and beauty is the journey, not the destination.
