Per the Texas Barstool account on Instagram. Apparently the university is finding out who threw the trash Saturday night and are revoking their tickets

You don’t believe a kid from CA would go to school in Austin?

Probably a fake.

Unless the return number on the text from San Luis Obispo, CA is a mass email/text company that t.u. has under contract or something.

The kid from CA going to school in Austin wouldn't be sending the text saying their tickets are revoked

This is a possibility, but the 5 digit number texts are usually more common. Doesn't mean it's impossible though.

I would expect it to be a Texas.edu email if it were real. But what do I know

surveillance + facial recognition capabilities in stadiums is more prevalent than people think.

I think other SEC programs would not do this. You don't want the rowdiest fans not in attendance.

Just send them a note saying they're on ticket probation or some bullshite.

They ended it with "Thank You"

these faked texts are probably good enough to "fool" the SEC officials that rubberstamped our self imposed "sAnCtIonS".

Thank you tRant for believing it and helping us get away with zero consequences

This is mandated by the SEC league office.

SEC Penalizes Texas

Under the sportsmanship, game management and alcohol availability policies established by the Southeastern Conference, the University of Texas will:

Be assessed a financial penalty of $250,000;

Be required to use all available resources, including security, stadium and television video, to identify individuals who threw objects onto the playing field or at the opposing team. All individuals identified as having been involved in disrupting the game shall be prohibited from attending Texas Athletics events for the remainder of the 2024-25 academic and athletic year;

I worry about some of you people. No wonder Zelle Scams are so profitable.

Aww that's cute.

"Sorry, we've been unable to identify with any sort of accuracy who the individuals were".

Also this says what Texas is doing in response to SEC rule, it's not the SEC rule, which I'd be curious to see.

Pretty obvious this is fake. The UT messaging system would most likely use a short code to send these comms out.

Not surprised y'all SEC tards fall for it considering the low academic standards for most of the SEC schools. Probably the same inbreds that fall for QANON conspiracies.

Keep talking about Daddy.
