Amazing that a lowly recruited guy has a legit 4 plus pitch arsenal. The only good thing to come from the Golloway tenure was finding Mize(pretty sure it was Holiday who found him)

Was Mize really lowly recruited? I remember hearing hype about him before his freshman season even started

Lol bomb that landed 2 ft into the outfield stands. How would you describe the one Koch hit the half inning before that completely cleared that aluminum seating structure in left field?

It was a balk. Can’t flex your front foot.

He was the 351st best player in his class and 150 or so among pitchers according to perfect game. So yeah, he wasn’t very highly recruited.

Dawgs avoid disaster in the 6th. Give up a hit, a balk, an error, a sac bunt, and manage to get the next two on a backwards K and a fly out to Center.

3-3 heading into the 7th

I mean, that’s all fine and dandy but you can’t flex your front foot. That is a balk in the game of baseball. So “sick” bro

From 351st in his class, to projected #1 draft pick with Keith Law of ESPN saying he didn't think Detroit was even considering anybody else.

If that doesn't help us in recruiting Idk what will

How does the rest of your staff look? Because if it's just Mize, it won't do much. But if the entire staff is clicking at a high level, that's development to sell

Hess is killing with that inside breaking ball. It's pretty filthy.

We don’t need much. Bohannon is good but Thompson is one of the best in the game. His coaching leads something to be desired at times but he’s a really stellar recruiter. Nonemaker and Gross have the potential to be good as well.

Bama up 8-5 on MSU in the 7th.

Pilkington got rocked for 7 runs in 4.1 innings. By Bama.

He has battled injuries throughout his career. That caused a lot of questions. But the talent has always been there.
