I’m not overly familiar with Pittmans contract. Is this indicating that his buyout won’t drop next year regardless? Due to an automatic extension?
I was aware of his record being at .500 or better meant a higher buyout this year. Assumed it would drop next year.

We’ll see how the revenue sharing impacts things, but as NIL currently sits I could see more coaches sticking around at their current schools. SMU has a clear path to the playoffs and the money to support buying a team. Not sure the draw of playing in the SEC or Big10 is the same as it was even 3-4 ...
