What I hate about this the most is that I thought Pruitt and his DB experience would have turned JHC into a beast..

Take this totally FWIW... I don' know this dude...

I thought it was interesting coming offa the Drew Butler's earlier tweet tho...

quote:

Guys, I am hearing that JHC's departure was a Pruitt decision (I'm not 100%). We all knew when he met with the secondary the first time, he told them that everybody had one chance. No one is irreplaceable in his eyes. JHC never had the attitude to play for a "no-nonsense" coach like CJP. It is going to be a seriously crazy spring for the secondary player's. They will seriously have to be disciplined player's to start on this defense. I will leave it at that...

He isn't very good but he was a true freshman and realistically should have RS.

Could stick Parrish back there if necessary

This is my favorite choice. Move Matthews to SS and put Parrish at FS. $$$$$$$$$

This really sucks but there's a point in time where it's addition by subtraction. If you can't count on a guy to be available to play due to suspensions in the end you need to cut your losses and rid yourselves of the distraction to everyone else who buys in.

The guy was going to miss the most pivotal part of the season anyway. He’s a selfish tPOS. Let’s move on

Sucks but I'd rather those guys be kicked off the team long before the season starts rather than in the middle of it.

I trust Pruitt and Co. will get our secondary better regardless of THC's departure.

Swann to Free Safety, Matthews Strong safety.

JHC was always a tweener, the only reason he ever saw the field is because Grantham invented Star for him. It fricked up the whole secondary and is what made the defense too complicated for everyone. Guys didn't have this issue in 2012.

Swann can't tackle.

Should have just rolled with a 4-2-5 D if what you said is true.

My attitude exactly. JHC, don't let the door hit you in the arse.

What about Shattle Fenteng? He's got good size. Some sites list has as a CB, others as a safety. He's a JUCO, so there must be a thought that he can come in and help someplace immediately.

What about Langley at safety?

And what happened to Kennar Johnson?

I think we'll want him to help at corner immediately. He's got size that we don't have at that position.

I don't know. I actually wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at receiver.

It's been rumored over the past couple months. No idea if it will come to fruition or not, but he was a really good receiver in HS. Great with the ball in his hands.

I still think he can be a really good corner. He got thrown into the fire last year and really didn't get another chance. The physical skills are there.

Sheldon Dawson is going off on twitter. Fans are egging him on and he is responding with "go to hell." Not looking good.

Terry and Marshall as well. Still, guys need to stay off twitter with this. It's a heated topic and they do NOT, under any circumstances, need to get into it with fans.

Seems like we have too many corners:

Fenteng, Wilkerson, Wiggins, Dawson, Swann, Langley, Parrish, and Bowman.

So who in that group sticks at the corners?

Who moves to safety where we're short?

I know, but it's hard for me to blame them. I have no doubt that some of our fans are spewing some pretty asinine and offensive shite.

I'm also of the opinion that Arty Lynch probably should have kept his mouth shut. No good could come of that tweet within the team.

Langley to receiver wasn't a rumor, I believe it's what Richt said on 680 about a month ago, but he said it as a possibility, not being definite.

On Lynch, I agree. What good does it do for him to tweet that?

Maybe JHC creamed him a few times in practice and he's pissed off?
