Not really a hidden gem, but Auburn fans need to check out Halftime sports bar. It just opened this week and is downtown next to cheeburger. They have a really good menu and a really good beer selection.

is cheeberger any good? Drove by it a lot, and never went in. My Montgomrien friend said its just a frat hangout with decent food.

It's solid. There used to be one in the gump, but it shut down for some reason. Dank milkshakes, good fries, and pretty tasty burgers.

Shitty. Save your money and go elsewhere.

It's over priced and you could do much better.

That is terrible bbq cooked by an electric American Pride commercial smoker. It is some of the worst bbq I've ever eaten.

NOT impressed with the one in Oxford. Never eaten the original and yea it may be better but the one here blows and is ridiculously overpriced for what you get.

It's not a hidden gem but they recommended Drago's for my lunch Friday. The "original" chargrilled oyster blows Acme out of the water. It's not even close.

Speaking of Little Dooey's in Oxford, I drove by it today and it said that it is closed for repairs and they took the sign down. The place has only been open for a month and a half. What the hell happened? A kitchen fire?

Visited my brother who lives on the North Shore and stopped by a DANNY AND CLYDES at a gas station on the Mandeville exit on I-12. I remember seeing it mentioned on TD and stopped to give it a try. Got a shrimp po boy and I must admit it was pretty darn good.

Agree on Drago's too. I've been to the one at the Hilton a few times and the one in Metarie. Good stuff at both.

Since so many teams are now playing OOC games in Jerry World and Atlanta, there deserves to be a thread on this subject just for those cities.
