re: Its time to fire Cohen

Posted by WiredToTheJD on 1/7/20 at 1:30 pm
Cohen wanted Joe gone as soon as after the loss at Tennessee, but the move would obviously have to wait until year's end.

Keenum wouldn't allow the fire after the Egg Bowl victory because when it comes to athletics he is hyper-obsessive about being better than Ole Miss, more than anything.

I agree that this falls on Cohen's arse because we should've already had some fish on the lines when we announced Joe was fired, but I think we might have the bigger problem of Keenum being overly involved in hires and fires.

Dan Mullen to Oregon

So if what the Oregon message boarder's are saying is true and Mullen to Oregon is "all but done" unless Chip Kelly ultimately reconsiders...

Big if... Everything now is just pure speculation.

What would our board look like?

Jeff Brohm

Word is it's the Armed Forces Bowl in Ft. Worth December 23rd vs. Navy.

Perfect opportunity to stay and watch Dak roll the lions on the day after Christmas for state fans.

Oh, and a great opportunity to start grooming our next Dak (Kayteon Thompson) since early enrollees can practice in bowl practices.

Hevesy has absolutely got to go... But I think it'll take Stricklin coming in and putting his foot down (do ADs even do that?). They've been together since the beginning of time.

Mullen is gone as soon as he gets a good enough offer, with less competition and more money... but it might take quite some time for a job to meet those pre-reqs. He can't croot in the SEC.

He can develop 3*s better than anyone in the country. Unfortunately, that only gets you so far when you're lined up against 4 and 5*s in the SecW.
Our secondary is about half as bad as most believe. We just held Auburn (I know they aren't who we thought they were) without a TD for the first time under Gus.

Will Redmond is the #1 CB in pretty much any draft projection you look at.
Bad ball on their part. Non-biased, the State/LSU game is a top 25 matchup that should be a great game.

I think I remember a similar thread about a year ago. Under strangely similar circumstances.

OP does know Dak is far and away the best returning starting QB in the league right?
