I can’t do the rankings sprrassheet today as i’m traveling.. but here is Baseball America and some links.

I know we got a series dub over a ranked squad this weekend but us jumping 5 spots in the BA rankings is pretty representative of what a bloodbath this weekend was for a lot of ranked teams

Well to your point there are 17 different CBB polls but I thought I saw em checking in a 24 or 25 in a few different ones

Hogs in at #10. We aren't playing very good ball now. Not sure we are a Top 10 team.
Wouldn't at all be surprised if Texas doesn't stroll their asses into Baum this weekend and sweeps us. I damn sure expect them to take the series.

LSU's bullpen is basically a mess beyond one guy (if Evans is starting) and the lineup had been in a big slump. Yet the Tigers are 2nd in the country.
Maybe everyone just has issues and it's a big toss-up in the postseason.

It is a toss up, Texas has been winning a lot of one run games but our luck could run out. Losing our Friday starter is a massive blow for Omaha and if we dont get our All American back for post season I think its a massive toss up with everyone this year. Our record wont matter much without those 2 players.

Tanking Vandy 6 spots and Clemson only 1 is def kinda weird.
Clemson won their midweek over a top ten UGA team and Vandy lost to MTSU so that’s certainly credence to drop one more than the other. But at the same time, Clemson got swept at #25 and Vandy went 1/3 at #23

I’ll say, too, if you listen to the Nerdcast or D1 recap podcasts, their rankings definitely are moreso a power ranking than a fitting representation of where seeds might land as they kind of poo poo or praise RPI when it suits their narrative.
7 SEC teams currently in the top 10 of RPI (including all of the top 5), 5 SEC teams in the top 10 of ELO
But D1 only has 4 SEC teams in their top 10 (Texas and LSU at the top, UGA and Auburn at 9-10)

3 weeks ago LSU dropped 6 spots after getting swept @#11Auburn (deservedly)
And then Clemson goes to #25 NCSt and gets swept, then drops 1 spot.
