Fuccking hot-dog lipped mascot is gonna win it all. Have to beat a ‘meh’ notre dame team then play a penn state team that chokes hard games. Then they play Oregon in the natty, and Oregon will have to travel 2,500 miles to Atlanta, basically georgias backyard.

Interesting prediction after watching their backup QB play one half of football.

Is it a given they play Oregon? Oregon may not make it out of the next round, let alone the natty. Ohio State has NFL talent across the board to beat Georgia.

Also, gonna have to go with Texas if they play again. 3 times to beat a team? Sounds impossible with similar talent levels, unless Georgia just owns real estate in their souls.

Which they might. But doesn’t sound like Georgia has just a gimme national title path.

Interestingly, after the ND game, the only 3 QBs to have started a playoff game for UGA got their job because the starter got hurt: Jake Fromm, Stetson Bennett and Gunner Stockton.

Oregon already beat Ohio State though. You gotta give Oregon a little credit.

Last time Georgia played Oregon in Atlanta, it didn't work out so well for Oregon, if I recall correctly.

UGA was pretty average this season with Beck, and Stockton being their QB doesn't make them a better team. Just not seeing it. Just my opinion.

Yea, this team isnt close to 2021 or 2022, but we could win it all with some help like Texas gave us in ATL.

Notre Dame is "meh"? I don't think so.

ND's built a lot like UGA...they're very physical, have a tough running game and a very good defense. Plus, they're very motivated.

With UGA's numerous wounded on hand and with brand new QB and punter, I predict a very bloody, low-scoring outcome with UGA on top. Very close game.

Obviously would be thrilled but I don't see it happening.
Our defense might be championship level but not our offense.
We simply don't have enough play-makers on offense to keep up with high powered scoring offenses and now with Beck out odds are definitely not in our favor.
I do hope we can get past ND but it won't be easy because ND has a darn good team on both sides of the ball.

I’m sorry to hear UGA isn’t motivated.

We are a lot healthier than they are even losing Robinson yesterday.

To be fair no one has seen uga with Stockton starting yet but after the first round of osu keeps the fire lit and play like they did Saturday no one is coming within a possession of them

I've said this a few times on here, but the idea that "it's hard to beat the same team twice" isn't really supported by evidence.

In the SECCG era, we've had 8 rematches in the SECCG. The team that won the first game also won the SECCG in 6 of those 8 rematches.

In both of the cases where the team who lost the first game won in the SECCG, they lost the first game on the road.

We don't know if 3 is somehow different because it's never happened before. But in general if a team is good enough to beat the other, especially on the road, they're unlikely to then lose a rematch.

Obviously it can happen, but I think people seriously overrate the concept that beating teams multiple times is harder. it's only harder if the first win was a fluke or upset.

Eh.

OSU played very well. But many of the teams left have played very well at times. I think all the other high talent level teams left could beat OSU if they played well against OSU, even if OSU plays well too.

That includes Texas, UGA and Oregon.

If OSU plays an off game, a team like Michigan can beat them. That means even the worst teams in the playoff could beat them as well.

Every team in college football is horribly flawed this year. Don't just look at a team's last game and view that as what they are.

Ohio State's best game beats every other teams best game by at least 10 points.

But no one has 4 best games in a row. Will be interesting to see if someone can take advantage.
