So far within the last few days there's 3 things I notice;

1.)The average fan is fed up with NIL and transfer portal and the pandora's box that goes with it.

2.)The 12 team play off so far has been a joke. None of these games have been competitive. The Arizona State game wont be. Maybe the others will but Indiana and SMU didn't need in the play offs over several SEC teams if there was going to be 12 teams.

3.)The other bowls are drawing hardly no interest even from their regular season fanbases. I'm sure there's plenty examples but a good example is last years Orange Bowl when you knew ahead of time a lot of Florida St players weren't even going to play vs Georgia and then lost by about 60. More of that type of trend seems to be coming.

....are even more pointless now than they have ever been, and they aren't trending well at all.

I keep having to look up when our bowl game is so I don't miss it. Absolutely no excitement. Just obligation.

In 2016 I could have named every starter on both sides of the ball. Even the lines. I followed some of them on Twitter, even. (I didn't tweet at them because I'm not a degenerate. Don't tweet at players, y'all)

This year I can name probably three or four starters. There's no point when two thirds of the team is going to turn over by next year.

Easiest money I’ve ever made. I pulled 5K off those 4 playoff games.
Anyone with half a brain knew 12 teams was too much and the higher seeds were going to get stomped.

If Indiana and SMU didn't belong, then Tennessee sure as hell didn't belong either, and neither did Alabama, Ole Miss, and South Carolina

Don’t care. “But we are Alabama” was left out of it.
I’m good.

Sorry to say that this is always what happens when money and greed rule the day.

Late Stage CFB. It’s about to implode in on itself and we’ll have Saturdays free soon

Now we can move down to an 8 team playoff. And when those blowouts are “ruining the sport”, we can move down to 4 until we get good enough to pick just 2, and then we’ll finally have it right.

Make players sit out a year or lose a year of eligibility for transferring and the portal calms down.

And I am sure the average star QB was fed up sitting in a room with a $10,000,000 HC and $1,000,000 OC making their money off his heroics while he’s supposed to be happy with a scholarship.

Colleges don’t have to pay NIL or accept portal players. The fact that they will, though, while bitching about it just shows how essential these players are to what is really a multibillion dollar entertainment industry.

If f you want to “fix” college football, take the money out of it. No scholarships, no multimillion dollar coaching staffs and facilities, no games on TV, etc. Treat it like the extracurricular activity that it is.

But as long as someone’s fat arse wants to sit on the couch and watch highly talented players for entertainment reasons and can’t live with seeing their beloved Western State lose to rival Eastern State and must win the game, then they are going to have to pay for it.
