We can just start this now and keep it going for a year since we know it’s coming. I say kick the can on Matt Campbell, or go take a look at brohm at Louisville. If we can get him away from his Alma mater. He wins games, and runs a system similar to Bobby p since he played for him. Also still has the fire Bobby has lost some of.

12th in turnovers
Penalties like crazy.
We were not a well oiled machine, play calling was really bad in the red zone and when we had the ball inside our own 10 trying to drive the field.

Always seemed like someone else started calling plays when we hit the red zone… Seemed like we were making the same stupid mistakes since we hired the same stupid HC we still have. #LarryTBowlingBawl

We need to make a splash hire like UNC did + add in a 'General Manager' role to the AD.
If we aren't capable or willing to do this, just hang it up and give Sam a lifetime contract.

Lack of forced turnovers by the defense was a big issue in the second half of the season.

If Lincoln Riley gets fired he’d be another good option. As would kingsbury. I know, they’ve never been known for defense or winning championships but they at least have name recognition and normally have good offenses

FFS.
We spent the second half of the season blaming Pittman for not yanking Green when he was having one of his special days even though everyone knows that Green is Petrino's pet project.
So now we are going Pittman takes over play calling inside the red zone!!!!
Horse shite. Or, in this case, pig shite. If that was true, in today's world, people would have been screaming that on social media by the second game. The only thing we do know is that Pittman prefers to run the ball when we are up in the game. That is it.
Pittman can be a HC not ready to take the team to the next level at the same time Bobby P can have a ton of issues as an OC at this stage of his career. Maybe it will get better next year but Petrino bolted from Missouri State after his last team there went 5-6 with a 5 game losing streak.
Petrino isn't a magical cure all any more. The Petrino we had before he destroyed his career is not the Petrino we have now. He could turn things around next year but we may be stuck with the law of diminishing returns.

You are totally welcome to defend a grown man who berates the Razorbacks on TV and doesn’t take responsibility for his mistakes and lack of performance. Everyone wants to blame “those kids” or the OC who had us at #2 in the SEC in offense and has lost around 30 players to the transfer portal again. Seems like a true winner to me.

Riley refuses to evolve in areas like special teams, recruiting deep in the trenches and altering game plans that are not working. As long as he had a Heisman QB and a conference with weak defenses he was fine but the Big Ten has exposed him as would have the SEC had he stayed at Oklahoma.
