Because with OU, you never know which team will show up, not even die hard Sooner fans know.

You could have the 2023 OU losing Kansas type of team that’s unprepared and chokes.

Or you’ll face a team that punches Tennessee and Heupel in the mouth.

My gut tells me OU will punch Tennessee in the gut and shut their fans up because this defense is the best we’ve had since 2001.

If Tennessee underestimates the Sooners, they will give the Sooners their first SEC win.

Looking forward to the game but as far as your defense goes, how are y’all going to stop Nico and company? Speed kills and this is a fast football team.

I do have to commend OU fans for not being annoying for the most part.

They know when to talk shite and when to stay quiet. Cannot say the same for either UT fans. Give it a couple years of failing miserably when it counts.

Bro, what you smoking? I’ll be shocked if OU keeps it down to wire or close but other than that I expect Tenn to win by at least 2-3 TDs. We struggled mightily against friggin Houston for Christ’s sake.

That’s a long winded way to say Tennessee might win or Oklahoma might win

This from the poster who consistently sets records for the most downvoted threads on the rant & gets consistently talked down to by his own fanbase

I relax when defense and special teams come out, which is a night/day difference from the last 14 years when we had to score 50 to win by 3. Venables has accomplished what we knew he would. Won't waste our time talking about youth and injuries on offense.

Tennessee has better players. The outcome will hinge on Tennessee's execution.

Don’t take the forums personally.

Where do you see Okie with the advantage in this game?

Okies D is stout I’m sure but they haven’t looked great playing weak Os.

And the Okie O has a ton of talent but the Vols D has really put on a clinic.

The biggest advantage I see for Okie is the night hostile environment. That might be huge but will it be enough?

Good on good for Okie has to be their front 7 vs the Vols right?

I very much prefer their flavor of bravado over the Longhorns though. Those guys are just tools

I actually look forward to playing OU in the future due to their proximity and fans, I think it'll be a little bit of a rivalry and there's a lot of history there. I never look forward to playing Texas.

Longhorn fans are undeservedly insufferable, but atleast they are literate. Half the OU fans here can’t write an intelligible sentence, it’s weird.

What if I told you JA has more passing TDs and only 200 yards less passing this season than Iamaleava? You guys act like this dude is breaking records.

You’ve played two winless teams with losses to Mercer and St Francis PA.

You only have 4 sacks on the season with that schedule.

You don’t force turnovers, don’t create sacks and don’t have a large number of TFLs for suck weak opponents.

I am sure Tennessee is focusing on October 5th. This is totally going to be the case of looking past the cupcake.

You realize one score was a pick 6 right? Defense gave up 13.
