Although OU didn't win many SEC games this year, they did beat Bama at home, Auburn in their house, and the state of Alabama.

NFL players have no choice when they’re traveling every year to New York, New England, Chicago, Green Bay, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Cleveland, Philadelphia in December and January.
Any athlete who’s trained outdoors up north knows it’s a night and day difference compared to down south on ...

I was in the Army for 20 years and lived all over.
It took time getting my lungs climatized to running outdoors in New York, high elevation in Afghanistan, and Germany in December.
Whereas running and sprinting outdoors in Alabama, Louisiana, and Georgia during December was great and easier ...

Try again, OU used to play November games in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, and Kansas City for the Big 12 championship.
Closest SEC team to Kansas cold is maybe Kentucky. Kansas and the wind chill is downright brutal....

When the playoff kicks off, how will an Ole Miss or Georgia fare in extreme cold weather with potential snowy conditions at a Big 10 stadium?
The days of SEC teams having the advantage playing in Florida or Louisiana are over and I love it.
