They thought they were blue bloods before Jan 2019 and were bitching they had to play LSU who was a “Johnny come lately.” They wanted to play Bama because “college football wants to see blue bloods”

Their mascot looks like dog shite

They got a seat at the adults table and managed to hang on to it for 5 years or so. A lot like UGA.

Also Underwood was expensive. LSU can get other pieces now. We won’t get Underwood and probably not someone as good as him, but we aren’t A&M.

Transfer portal is underrated here. Guys are too hung up in “building a class” out of high school neglecting to realize any one of them can transfer at any moment, and we’ve gotten our 2 GOAT’s from the portal. What if Underwood turned into ASU JD and transferred somewhere else to win the Heisman?

Yes. I’ll never be so naive to say I won’t watch it, but the system is very flawed right now.

It’s just different now. College used to be players who just loved playing and wanted to win.

If you get Bryce Underwood money and are destined for a long career in the NFL, why would you give a shite about the 0.1% chance you win a championship? I wouldn’t. I”m not saying they won’t play well, but the actual game becomes less important, which is the one biggest thing college always had on the pros.

It amazes me how much hate people get for saying Nuss needs to not suck for any of this to matter.

He single handedly lost 2 games, arguably 3, and by some miracle we pulled OM and USCe out of our asses. Throwing the ball straight to a safety /corner instead of out of bounds, is not a result of him “being asked to do too much.” Refusing to run is not scheme, or blocking, or whatever. It’s stupidity. Both are very correctable DURING THE SEASON, and yet… he didn’t do it.

Nuss was a PROBLEM for LSU this year.

Chase is even outplaying Jefferson this year too. He’s destroying everyone. Neither of those guys are dropping out of top 5 WR any season for the next decade. They’ll probably be fighting over #1 and #2 in the NFL most seasons.

We had both of them on the same team. And BTJ/Nabers/JD on the same team.

Why are people convinced that Nuss is guaranteed the starting job? He is not a great QB and refused to fix any issues over the season, and there were several that could’ve been implemented in a week.

By the end of the season he was still throwing the ball right into the opposing team’s hands for no reason.

And despite all the hate he got for not running the ball he never did it until a few times in the OU game. If he doesn’t approve he is not guaranteed shite. Especially if this Van Buren kid comes in with something to prove and works his arse off.
