Is anyone else sick of macafee ripping his shirt off and yelling and always picking the home team? That crowd pleasing BS can stay in the wwe sphere

David pollack was much better but he wasn’t woke enough for espmsnbc

College Gameday is a tired idea and has been for a while. You can get way better pregame analysis on Youtube these days. It needs to be no longer than 1 hour, to start.

Macafee fanboys will be here to tell you that you are wrong. PM is loud and in your face. Same as Uniforms and music and YouTubers. Loud is what is popular. Substance is irrelevant. PM is just shock entertainment, the cheapest form of entertainment.

GameDay started sucking about 6-7 years ago if you ask me. I honestly think Big Noon on Fox is better to watch on Saturday morning.

It just had its most-watched regular season episode in 8 years. If anything its having a resurgence.

Saban being known outside the CFB world looks like it's bringing in casuals, especially with him being in like 3 different commercials.

He's an idiot. I don't watch gameday anymore because of him.

I don't really watch Gameday that much but I think it's better than it was the last couple of years. It got really fricking boring.

But hey....if that's your thing

Lee Corso is that show. Once age caught up to him the show started to decline.

3 hours is too long, they gotta fill the airtime with too much crap.

It's also largely a parody of itself at this point.

I wonder how much longer Saban will put up with McCaffee.

McAfee is really the worst possible personality for this, but Pollack was lifeless.

I get the idea they've been looking for a "fun" personality as Corso declines but McAfee ain't it.

I haven't watched more than ten minutes of GameDay in years, it's really bad now. They need to gut the whole thing.

Saban has elevated Gameday partly by somehow calming McAfee down.
Seems a bit better this year.

At least they got rid of The Bear, I never could figure out what his role was supposed to be and he got way too much airtime.

Like Fox NFL Sunday (Certainly after James Brown left FOX for CBS), it jumped the shark about 20 years ago. SEC Nation is better.
