What is he trying to say and how many ways does it fail when the program he’s at lost 52-6 against Saban and Alabama? The SEC would’ve ran this man off much like it did Urban.

Lincoln Riley was down 28-0 in the first quarter last time he played Bama, USC lost 52-6 last time they played Bama, and both lost to Bama’s coach last year at home by 10

Did Alabama ever finish outside of the Top 15 in SOS in any season under Nick Saban?

What is he suggesting?

I dunno, Mr. Riley. I saw a pretty high profile OOC game in Tuscaloosa last season and a similar one in Austin the year before that.

That current SC coach did indeed run from the SEC. OU's AD mentioned it saying "All the coaches that did not want to play in the SEC left."

That little man hoped to win the PAC with superior athletes, but no tough defensive players will sign with him.

This is all about moving ND off the schedule. Not happening. USC alumni will raise hell.

Yes.

Alabama scheduled for championships which still allowed them to play good teams OOC.

Glad Lincoln dodged LSU, like Jimbo and Herman.

That's not inaccurate; however, Riley knew all of that when he came to USC. USC definitely has the money to compete in facilities, but the administration is dysfunctional. The politics at USC are insane. Way worse than at any SEC school.

Da fuq?

Alabama tried to schedule at least one top-tier OOC opponent every season:

Florida State in 2007
Clemson in 2008
Virginia Tech in 2009
Penn State in 2010 and 2011
Michigan in 2012
Virginia Tech again in 2013
West Virginia in 2014
Wisconsin in 2015
USC in 2016
Florida State again in 2017
USC in 2020 though that game was cancelled due to Covid
Miami in 2021
Texas in 2022 and 2023

Bama played good OOC brands under Saban. The entire SEC played multiple cupcakes per season so can't hold that against them. Not sure what the hell Lincoln is saying except making up his own narrative on the fly.

Alabama has always played a difficult schedule. They’ve been so good that it appears to be “weak”. Tennessee and Ole Miss murdering big 10 teams is a perfect example

I wish Bama could've scheduled any of Riley's OU and USC teams for 15 games. It would've been a guaranteed undefeated season.
