1. Pitching is not as good as last year. Losing Jordy Bahl was huge she was dominate.

2. Pitching was not the biggest problem today. Errors and base running mistakes was.

3. We never pitched Jordy every game last year either. Our pitching is weaker and will take time to develop in comparison.

4. It was good to have a loss it’s been a lot of pressure for them. New stadium plus streak and everyone rooting for a loss. Both are over now so they can get on without all the pressure.

5. I think we’ll have around 4 losses headed to post season, which is still pretty good.

Jordy is much better than every pitcher but shes one pitcher
.. its one loss lets not overreact like OU fans always do.
your points 1-2 kind of cancel each other out lol... you said pitching isnt as good but pitching didnt lose it.....Errors are a reflection of being tired and not having attention to detail.
Time will tell but Maxwell is our ace Deal is number 2 and those 2 vs the entire country i would take. The sky isnt falling we have had 3 40 plus win streaks in 5 years. We had the game lose in extra innings its okay.

But we’ve made a lot of pitching mistakes too like more walks and giving up more hits.

I like this team to make it to final 4. And 4 losses would be a damn great season. The streak became a distraction. It’s hard to be on every game. We have a great coach who will use this to motivate. And it’s a good wakeup call that other teams will not roll over.

To me it’s a timely loss and will help not hurt them. At same time if they stumble in next week then teams will smell blood in water too. I think they’ll be fine and have a chance to win another title. But the softball world has been expanding and there are more good teams as well. And more good coaches.

with everything you said the reason we lost didnt have to do with anything you said we beat ourseleves with errors... pitching is a non factor its been fabulous all year ask Gasso she said it many times in press conferences. its okay 1 loss deep breaths. Go watch Sooner Surge podcast they are agreeing with everying i have said pitching had been great all year. They are literally ahead of every stastically category in pitching right now compared to this time last year or seasons end. go look it up. It was one bad game.

71 GAMES WON OU has recorded 50 shutouts.... if thats bad pitching i will take it every day of the week.

A month after OU lost ….as of right now compared to last year, OU has scored more runs than last year …. team era is better than last year ….
Kelly Maxwell is our ace and dominating just like I said she was when we lost . Gimme Vaugn and Oklahomey. 2 of the biggest over reactors we have . 21 game win streak already.
