Looks like some stupid frick trying to get attention.
Of course, it's all rumors, no real evidence and absolutely nothing to support his claims, but he is sure to let you know he's going to tell the world if he ever comes across it.
Self promoting shite head can go frick himself.

Don’t be so sensitive. Schools were recruiting off the MSU roster before Leach died and will continue to do so after

“Lots of mention of Freeze in the replies”
One of the quotes is ”Probably Freeze starting where he left off”. Guilty as charged

I believe state just got multiple players through the portal from lsu and Miami in the last couple of days . Not sure what his point is here.

Getting some reports of some college coaches working through third parties to try and get some Mississippi State football players to enter the transfer portal. If you’re doing this, then you are a disgusting human being.
We all knew there might be some low-lifes using Leach's death to try and flip players etc. Trust me, the names will get leaked, Steve does a great job getting to shite like this.

If he had any evidence he wouldn't be saying he'll post it if ever finds out who.
He's literally making baseless claims without any evidence.

Lets be honest, if this is happening, it was going on way before Leach passed away. This is just modern college football.

Not surprising. He is at Auburn, after all.
Poison trees, teabag drunks, stab relatives, drunk hoes hurling themselves into crowds...
Nope, not Auburn.

Don't look to college football for ethics.

Not saying he didn't do it but who exactly is saying "freeze"? Any credible sources or is it some dude called Jimbo Taylor @Mybulldogfarkedyourlandshark?
And without any evidence, all this douche is doing is throwing a shadow of suspicion over any kid that decides to transfer and any team that takes them. Basically shitting on people who may be 100% innocent. Congrats.

So, I agree HJJ’s post was in poor taste. However back to Robertson though he hasn’t had a problem with drugs since he was basically a kid, maybe 18-20 year old range.
The only reason his drug issues are known is because he himself amplifies them more than is necessary, imo to give him more of an identity (like an outcast, overcomer, etc). It’s pretty odd tbh. It’s hard to differentiate what he really is vs what he wants to create as a public characterization/persona.
I’m very familiar with him and his story, and I’ve met him and heard him speak. I’m a former chronic alcoholic who nearly drank myself to death by the time I was 30, so I am well versed in navigating these communities.
The main point I’d make regarding Steve is he has a pattern for amplifying and promoting shaky messages to be as controversial as he can frame it. I would also argue he subtly did that with many of the Mike Leach updates prior to the announcement of his death as well (many unnecessary remarks to make himself appear more valuable/connected than he is). Not like that is very different than most “journalists”, I just think he tries to straddle the fence between presenting himself as a down to earth regular guy when he’s just another grifter shock journalist.

The tragedy of Leach's death doesn't mean the state players who others might indeed want are suddenly off limits. It might seem dirty in nature to some, but it's the truth. The business stops for no one.

Call it what is is but Steve Robertson made Freeze's life a living hell.
Payback time.

I don’t even consider college aged kids using drugs a problem that’s just normal unless it was really bad

If anything is going on, I doubt it’s any more than is typical and/or is continuation of specific pursuits of players that was already going on prior to Leach’s passing.
Is that a shitty potential grey area? Maybe, but Robertson is trying to interject himself to claim that this is the line because he says it is and to feed from public outcry. I don’t even blame him for doing that necessarily, but I’m also not going to fall into the outrage trap.

Once again for the slow learners.....
Langham, Jelks, Lang, Means, Young, Price, Fran, Shula, Stallings, Dubose sex harrassment, textbook scandal, 16 university sports put on 3 year probation, T-town menswear, Whimp Sanderson affair and abuse scandal, Kobie Baker, Sexton. Curator of the Bryant museum charged with child pornography, hubcaps.
Hell even the old man was investigated a time or two. Once for fixing a game and again by the FBI for civil rights abuse. He is praised for being the first to sign black athletes but it took a lawsuit to get him to do it (Wilbur Jackson). Suit was dismissed in 1971 when Bama gave a handful of scholly to black athletes. Until then the black athletes were considered walk-ons.
Only University in the United States to come as close to the "death penalty" as SMU.
Not surprising ....it is after all.. The University of Alabama!
