Freeze came out saying some of the issues last year was “all about me” attitude.
He installed a 12 player council to help set the tone. I hope this will help the team gel!
Playoff bound…. Maybe….!!

This is what I would do if I struggled to install an offense

Obviously I’m a fan of player leadership and accountability, but didn’t we have something similar last year?

I hope he'll install an offense too.

We had a leadership council last year. This year is more about getting rid of the “me” attitude.
There were some quotes near the need of last season and after bowl game about players not buying in to the team

You can’t buy culture.

While true, we don’t seem to have this problem with basketball. Either Bruce sets clearer expectations or recruits athletes that see the big picture. Granted it’s much easier to do on a team of 15, as opposed to a football roster.

All this culture stuff is fluff that you focus on when you aren't winning meaningful games. Just win and I'll hype anything the team is doing in the off-season.

Indeed.
My favorite sports cultures are called “playing winning football” and “don’t look incompetent”.

Me attitude is pervasive across all of college football… might as well embrwce minor league football

Same reason N Saban retired. College football is in the process of dying. The fans just don’t know it yet

And likely discuss which players are getting paid the most and who is picking up the check at dinner

Sounds like most schools probably have this issue with athletes these days.
