I’m intrigued by Booth in Lebby’s offense and think he can be a quality change of pace back to combo with some more traditional ground and pound guys in Pittman and Lee.
State’s offense has a chance to be pretty fun. They’re gonna need to be because I think that defense will really suck....

The hosting bubble is strong this year, State is definitely not a slam dunk yet. Right now there are about 20 teams with legit hosting cases and obviously only 16 make the cut.
Need to sweep Mizzou and then see what else happens this weekend. If State drops a game, that could be trouble. Most of ...

The host bubble is pretty tight this year. And a loss to Mizzou could drop State’s RPI back into the 20’s which might be an issue. They may need a win or two in Hoover to prop it back up....

I think Vandy and Bama just need 1 more win to get in, OM needs 2 more wins, LSU needs 3 more wins.
Florida either has to win the series in Athens or make a deep run in Hoover...

SC needs this series more than Georgia does as I think UGA can survive a series loss but SC would have a harder time doing so, especially since they play in Knoxville next week....

So fascinating that the #1 overall seed won it in the very first year of this format and then hasn’t won it a single time since. And has rarely even made the finals, with several #1 overall seeds failing to get to Omaha....

I’m pumped about the pitching matchups in Fayetteville this weekend. Everyone knows about Arkansas’s pitching and rightfully so, but State’s Friday and Saturday guys have been excellent in their own right....

I think the winner of the SC-Georgia series is just about a lock. State probably becomes a lock if they win two in Fayetteville though that seems unlikely.
I think Georgia and SC both just need 16 wins to host. State needs at least 17.

Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, A&M are all locks,
State, SC, and Georgia are all at least two games over .500 in SEC and have Top 20 RPI’s. UGA is 5, SC is 13, State is 18. Though State does have the most SEC wins of the three and a head to head series win versus Georgia.
