The problem with that is that down the line the pendulum swings the other direction, we will get a more socialist president in place that either nationalizes spaceX or does what Biden did which is regulate them to a standstill.
When Harry was at 538 he often was the conservative voice. I am not saying he is conservative or republican but I think he really gets a kick out of should liberals that the data shows their views are not as popular as they think. Seems like he loves knocking them down a peg or two.

Where was that independence when Powell was carrying Biden's water saying that the inflation was transitory? Give me a break, only one party is ever held to these rules and it isn't the democrats.

re: VATs

You should also note that EU member country companies pay a different rate than foreign country companies. That rate difference is a tariff in and of itself, but no one wants to get into the details, they just like saying VAT isn’t a tariff because everyone pays it. It’s true, everyone pays it, it at different rates in order to protect their companies and limit imports.
Certainly not good enough, this reads as its only one sector, industrial goods. Zero for zero must be for all goods, they say industrial because that is their weakest sector.

Also Trump is not going to deal with EU until they agree to give US based companies the VAT rate that EU members countries get. having a different VAT rate for non-members countries is basically a tariff even if some on here and in the public setting claim differently.
EU would likely participate in tariffs ans they have been slowly weening themselves off and they are headed in summer months. India has been cozying up to trump also. He may have more leverage here than Biden did.

Wonder if they are trying to get out early before GTA IV makes everyone delay their games, or if there are some legit issues with it.
Very common issue in corporate america, typically 5% over employee rate is common in companies that have great procedures in place to manage licenses. I would be cautious that all of these are gotchas, a lot of companies will sell you a bucket of licenses say 500-1000 licenses are X amount and if you need 1001 you go up to the next bucket, so that would be really easy for lazy journalists to make a big deal out of something that is a nothingburger.

All that being said, if corporate America is bad at this, I expect the government to be down right awful, which makes sense if they are paying for 100% more licenses than employees, that’s pretty crazy.
They were 2 of the best who won their respective paths.

In the AFC there were probably 2-3 relatively equal teams - Bills and Ravens.

In the NFC a healthy Lions were on par with the Eagles.
And just like that a star is born. Meet Big Balls, liberal slayer.

re: Mike McCarthy tells Saints no

Regardless of if Mike told them no or not, I would be concerned that Loomis’s reputation is preceding him so much that no established or highly sought after coach will say yes to him.
This is where I think it would have been thoughtful to nominate Tillis for a cabinet position and get a maga person in his vote. Promote some of these people up because it makes it easier to move them out
Can’t be worse than the cowboys, so don’t get too mad.
With bitcoins instability around a 4 year cycle I think that states will be hesitant to adopt this once bitcoin crashes in the next 2-9 months. I say this as a big Bitcoin holder
There is documented evidence that the senior leaders and managers have to sign agreements to commit to the thoughts and ideas of the Chinese communist Party, including requiring CCP training on party ideas and requirements of a Chinese company. The is direct flow of data to China and there is direct influence on the algorithm by the CCP.

Turning off the site isn’t an issue on freedom of speech as there are plenty of platforms to use that are still open.

All that being said I think cooler heads will prevail and a solution that is agreeable to bytedance, CCP, and the USA.
I will list the problems and not problems:
-Dak at $60 mil cap hit
-Jerry as GM specifically the following three functions: contract negotiations, roster management, coaching/personnel staff decision making.
-top market contracts for players that are either not a top tier talent or top tier locker room contributor(you need both to get top tier money)
-lack of emphasis on interior of the front 7
-Salary Cap Management
-Operations not being solely focused on winning, too much focus is placed on the business of the cowboys, the brand of the Cowboys, annual revenue, and franchise value
-lack of spend on coaching staff (Jerry evidently does not believe is spending top money on coordinators, that why they got Zimmer instead of Rex Ryan)

Not problems:
-Mike McCarthy as a head Coach
-Dak as a QB

My point here is that Jerry is the main problem in how he operates both as an owner and a GM. It’s not focused enough on winning.

McCarthy is good enough to win a Super Bowl, but not under the formula that Jerry has in place, in fact I am not sure that any coach is good enough to win under the Jerry formula.

Dak is not a top tier talent, his path to winning a Super Bowl is more consistent with a Dilfer, Foles, Johnson, and Flacco formula. Meaning the money needs to be put into the O line, a couple game changing weapons and defense. Also it needs a solid defensive Coordinator.

Luckily no because they finally struck that down. Title IX can no longer be based on gender identity, much to the left chagrin
