Sad day not only for LSU but for the SEC altogether. RIP Mike. This news hurt today.

To this day.....I say that wasn't a fumble. Dex was down. Looking at the replay, it's clear he was down.

I was at Ole Miss from 2004-2010. I finally got to enjoy football my last two years. I made the best of it my last year. Went to every game except the South Carolina game. Thankful I didn't go to that.

I wonder if anything else will be done to that overhang with the speakers. Looks kind of weird right now.

looks so terrible. Incorrect capitalization and then some shitty script font for his name. They really owed him something better than that.
His jersey is retired. And he has a road named after him. It's not like that is the only thing.

This movie and the Brandon Burlsworth movie will be interesting. I'll want to see how both stories are portrayed.

Read "A Season to Remember: The Carson Tinker Story". That's a really good one too.

Been to Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, Auburn, Vanderbilt
Worst fans were Auburn which surprised me a little. Best fans and experience is a combo between Arkansas and Florida fans. I really enjoyed both of those trips.

Looks like they recycled rows from our old lights.

Yeah. Look kind of thrown together last minute. Not a fan of the lights on the press box. I was hoping they would have made the lights look kind of what like Clemson has.

I bet it's the stuff very similar to what's at Vanderbilt's stadium. If you've noticed at their stadium....they have a material that looks like concrete filling the gaps.

These two books are the best reads about the tornadoes that day.

I was suppose to drive to Memphis that day from Georgia. I decided to hold off the night before because I kept seeing how bad it might get. I'm greatful I did. I would have been driving through Tuscaloosa during the time of the tornado.
Driving through Birmingham and Tuscaloosa the next day was so eery. I took a detour to Smithville, MS on the way back to Georgia. Nothing was left in that town.

I wouldn't want to talk about it either. I'm sure they see it every time they close their eyes. I couldn't imagine being in a situation like that. Everybody was a target that day....didn't matter who you was or if you knew the two guys. That's enough to haunt anybody I think.

Oh yeah. No doubt. I did a lot of research back and forth while reading this book. Ha

This was a really interesting book. A bunch of information and background. The school papers, drawings, and journals were chilling at the end.

Kleboldt's mom even questioned why her son was up so early and leaving the house.
That day before she mailed off his deposit to the University of Arizona.

Crazy thing is....there was no drugs in their system at the autopsy. They had a bunch of friends. Just had dates to prom. They weren't total outcasts. It's just crazy.

Hard to believe it's been that long.
