Yeah i would call them co #1s. My bad.

Which is without question better for a RB. Their longevity directly correlates with number of carries, they are making a bad decision if they opt for more touches in college.
SEC is suffering from the Saban tree. That model dominated CFB for over a decade and is dead at the hands of the portal. Slow developing offenses are dying, you need a blueprint where 11 guys can come in and do well in year one. It’s unfortunate but that is the reality. You don’t have to go all the way there, but if you’re relying on more than 6-8 months for guys to learn the ropes you’re probably dead. Alabama unintentionally got a year head start, isn’t going to get easier for Georgia and Texas unless they adapt.

The SEC has fed that tree, and it can’t carry the load now. Need forward thinking programs to step up and it’s yet to be seen who those will be. Ohio State is probably about to dominate for a few years.

We will see if he can recover, but he quit coaching after the 2015 team and has been trying to rely on talent ever since. He hasn't worked for years. When he was hired at UK he said he didn't see himself coaching beyond 60. He should have retired after 2019.

Sadly this has happened to several great coaches in all sports over the last decade. The game has changed rapidly and not everyone moves with it. Same happened with the one and done change.

They are from Georgia, it’s implied. Food culture there was established by Sherman.

Arkansas is a bubble team. They never should've been ranked but their season isn't over because they've lost to three better teams.

You get a little rep bump when you hire the ghost of Ben Howland. Edit: John Calipari.

Are you saying the division is no longer bad?

Objectively it’s a little better at least? I actually hope this works, Arkansas hiring Bobo as HC next year is going to be glorious.

Could work out. Would keep in mind though that anyone on this board could probably average 35 PPG with Murray, Gurley, etc… in 2011-2014’s SEC East. The division was so bad Missou was winning titles.

We just lost to a fricking terrible basketball team.

Slightly less terrible than the Hogs though. GG.

Because every foul in like 10 minutes has been called on State. Feels like about 8 in the last 10 minutes.

That’s disrespectful to Malzahn.

God Dan Mullen sucks as a commentator

Weird, I was just thinking he was doing incredibly well.
Well, you see these ridiculous names?

That’s how, that’s why the Guaranteed no hassle quiklane mortgage bowl exists.
I think you have to go big for the positions that have longevity and don’t command a lot of NIL, specifically OL.

Then you identify raw 4 stars at specific spots like ATH’s and WR. Sell them on playing early and developing so they command more NIL money in a year or two. If you lose them after 2 years that’s fine, it means they produced. The biggest earning potential for those guys isn’t going straight to a blue blood and maybe not getting good playing time for 3-4 years, it’s showing out early and hitting the portal as a proven commodity. Just have to make them buy into that.

The portal is there, have to use it instead of getting burned by it.
No tolerable person has ever had Kirby’s haircut.

Like he destroyed it when he hired Mike Leach?

Like when he passed over Johnnie Harris, your current HC, to hire McCrae Penson. Or when he passed over Butch, also your current HC, to hire Cannizzaro. He passed over Grantham, who may not have worked, to hire Moorhead who had less experience and certainly didn’t work.

Not knocking the decision to go outside, it’s the right decision more times than not. But when you have an obvious and qualified successor, passing over them to hire someone else’s assistant coach is generally not one of those times.

He got better with time I would argue, on our bill while he learned on the job. But those later hires were also risky PR hires (Leach and Jan’s), if more certain performance hires, because he knew he was running out of tarmac.
Bully is pretty deep rooted.

But, he rides out on his dog house to “Bad to the Bone” in pre-game. I feel pretty strongly he should fly the skull and bones during that sequence from now until the world ends.

I’m as sad as everyone else but I don’t want to see Arnett’s defense injure that many people.

Mike Leach describing his NDE would be the greatest interview ever and probably unlock all the secrets of the universe, metaphysics, and religion.

Then maybe don’t defend adults having sex with 16 year olds. It isn’t difficult to acknowledge something was more acceptable in the past but still wrong, those two things aren’t mutually exclusive.

Pedophilia is a scientific term, not a fricking legal term,

Which is why I offered rebuttal.

quote:

and has been clearly and scientifically defined well before the UN ever decided to notice pedophilia.

Like when it was acceptable to sleep with 10-16 year olds? A 16 year old is a child, supported by 195 countries.

quote:

"Pedophilia (alternatively spelt paedophilia) is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult or older adolescent experiences a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children."

This is an outdated definition, pedophilia is no longer synonymous with a disorder. However, criteria for the diagnosis you referenced is “any adult expressing sexual interest in children (eg. engaging a child sexually)”.

Child rights protections are nothing to do with puberty and everything to do with mental development. There are people who quite literally never go through puberty, if you need more reasoning for why using it as a go/no go is asinine.

But if you really want to defend the “if it bleeds it breeds” reasoning, feel free to frick right off.
