Last year, you had Caleb Williams, Jayden, Maye, Pennix, Bo Nix - all those big QBs. You didn’t have as deep a class at glamour positions, in big programs, this year.
Man, you know Cleveland is watching this and going “Do we really wanna deal with this shite?”
shite, you can make the playoffs with Sam Darnold or Geno Smith. You’re 4-12 with Shedeur starting
One of the Urge Overkill guys developed a bad dope problem and their follow up album BOMBED. I remember reading an article when that record came out, and there was shite in there about him pulling aside the waitress to argue with her.
Remember, after Jeremy, Pearl Jam quit making videos for several years.
I'm surprised to see that Urge Overkill song so high.

Kareem is like Hank Aaron in that he's an underrated legend. You can make a real argument he's the best player in NBA history - he's no worse than third greatest.
I hate to say Clay Travis is right, but Clay Travis is right.
Where would he end up? He can't go to another SEC school, he's kind of middling, he's going to cost a lot of $$$, he would be coming in after the spring - so it's got to be a desperate program with more money than sense.

I agree with much of what you say - Frances the Mute and Amputechture are great albums. They did a great show at the Orpheum during Jazz Fest 2005 - they either came out to the Doctor Who theme or left to the Doctor Who theme. Omar was humping the stage while moving backward, Cedric was playing guitar and doing this little dance like Prince used to do. I just never got back onboard after they reunited.

There's a pretty good documentary that came out a few months ago about Omar and Cedric and their relationship -- "If This Ever Gets Weird". You can rent it on Amazon, Apple, etc. Lots of good footage of the band from their heyday. Got me to pull out those classic records and give them another listen.
I think some of that was subsidized by the record label, like someone said earlier.
I saw Blind Melon play a $5 show there right around finals in late 1992.

I thought he was considered to be one of the better coaches in the league.
I was a big fan of his around 98-00. I saw him live in New Orleans, it was a reunion of people who were picked last in gym class. He hung out after the show, but I was too intimidated to say anything.

I'm really excited about this.
This seems like it will be lighter, with a lot of the elements from the silver and bronze age
I've gotten back into Superman big time in the past year or two - to the point that I'm regularly going to the comic shop and they're pulling titles for me.
Absolute Superman is the hot title right now - it's a reinvention of the character. His parents on Krypton were working class and the elite didn't want to hear them talk about how the planet was in danger. He gets most of his power from his suit, which is kind of like Iron Man's suit - it's intelligent. I'm not crazy about the art, but I like how they've turned a lot of stuff on its head.
The current Superman and Action Comics runs are a bit more traditional, but solid. It looks like they've dropped the horrible idea that Superman and Lois have a super-powered son.
Smells Like Teen Spirit, followed by In Bloom and Even Flow.

They're one of those bands that are forgotten about because of grunge and Britpop. A lot of those college radio bands from the late 80s-early 90s are in the same boat -- I think that even applies to REM.

My mind has typecasted the poor guy for good.

See, the first thing I saw him in was Friday Night Lights, where he played a very likeable, slightly dumb and goofy high school student. So he's typecast in the opposite direction.
