With Shuster and Dodd already in the rotation, I was wondering who’d get Fried’s starts. I guess it will be Elder or Anderson. I don’t imagine Wright will be ready. Just with the timing and rest days, I guess it’s gonna have to be Elder. If Anderson goes tomorrow, he’d have to start on short rest. Hope Elder looks good tonight. The off day today is gonna wind up helping.
Yeah, I don't think Wright is eligible to return until the 11th so I'm guessing it'll be between Elder/Anderson. Hopefully one of them shoves this weekend so that we can breathe easier.

That’s cool. I have a subscription, but have never looked for minor league games. Are they easy to find?
I actually haven't watched any minor league games as well but I know it's part of your subscription now. I linked a page below though that has a information on how to watch the games. Apparently we have to redeem access and download an app. Hope it helps.

TGIF fellas! Only problem is the Braves aren't playing. I've never understood that stupid scheduling quirk that's happened to the Braves many times of playing on opening day but not the day after.
Supposedly there's an off day just in case there's inclement weather on opening day.
Also for anyone interested Gwinnett plays tonight. We get to see Grissom and Shewmake and I believe Elder is starting who may be an option to fill in for Fried while he recovers. I think you can watch the game if you have an MLB.tv subscription.

We're apparently in the running for Walker Lyons (#5 overall TE) as well. The catch is that he is going on a mission and won't be on campus until next year but it'll be unheard of to sign 4 of the top 7 TEs in one class.

They aren't, but that doesn't mean they can't be sued. The did rent the vehicle and it was one of their staffers driving the car. Whether they are liable or not is moot. You can sue anyone and if a judge doesn't throw out the case then things could head south real quick.
I don't think any party wants this to go to trial. UGA/UGAAA probably doesn't want lawyers digging into their AD and the affected families may not want this to drag out over years with the chance of coming away empty handed.

I'm sure this isn't the first time that a university owned vehicle has gotten into some degree of an accident. I wonder if there's an agreement that an employee must sign that outlines their responsibilities, rights, and restrictions for using university owned property. If so the university would be protected to some degree in light of any violations to the agreement.

Per the NCAA transfer portal FAQ a student athlete is allowed to communicate with the destination schools office of admissions before he’s entered in the portal. Hopefully this is what’s going on with Arik.

Some of you seem to actually think you know more about what’s going on in this program than the guy who runs it. It’s comical really. JT didn’t play until now. There was a reason.
I mean the sideline reporter literally said during the game that according to the coaches JT wasn’t healthy enough to play until a couple of weeks ago....
Plus there’s a video you can easily find that shows JT limping on the sideline during the UF game.
Really don’t understand why this isn’t computing for some people.

I use Hulu Live and have this issue all the time.

I think I read somewhere that players in their final year of eligibility won’t count against next year’s scholarship limit if they decide to come back.

I just see the refusal to grow and adapt as a coach.
I don’t understand this narrative. He realized his mistake with Coley last year and brought in an OC that went against his offensive philosophy. He brought in Newman that was supposedly dynamic and not a game manager. He has also stated that Monken has full autonomy of the play calling. All of these tell me that he has adapted.

This is 100% true
Definitely not disagreeing with that lol.

Kelly Bryant didn't play poorly enough to get benched either. Clemson was undefeated when Dabo pulled the trigger. He just saw that he had a clearly more talented QB on the bench.
This isn’t true. Lawrence was outperforming Bryant through the first 4 games. Also, the reason why Dabo went with Lawrence after 4 games was to preserve Bryant’s redshirt which allowed him to transfer out.

Newman leaving and Daniels still being hurt isn’t on Kirby. Fromm leaving didn’t help but this is a situation no one saw coming.

The fact that Mathis started game 1 at Arkansas proves identity politics and fear of the race mob has infected Kirbys program.
He’s terrible
Just going to leave this quote from a DN article.
quote:
Smart said at the time UGA expected Daniels to be cleared for the opener, but when he failed to get cleared two weeks later, the Bulldogs went with Mathis as a starter for the season-opening game.

Dont be an idiot.
People arent opening the mail in fulton and DeKalb counties.
Machines do it.
The fact still stands that there are breaks in the chain that slow things down.
Come on. Please be reasonable. This is 2020.
Sure there may be machines that open the mail but people are the ones operating it.
I agree that there are breaks in the chain. The point I’m making is that you can’t make the process faster by just adding staffers.

You think fulton county has more staffers? I'd bet that they do.
The 1 issue that is new is the amount of incoming mail. No one can count anything before the letters are opened. There are breaks in the chain that impact everything else.
Since resources and space are finite at some point having too many workers will make the process less efficient. Also, you can’t just plug and play workers across the process. You would need to add a group of workers that can complete the entire cycle. Having more people to open the mail would just create a bigger backlog if there’s the same amount of people counting it.

I have thought the same thing - it will be increasingly more difficult to recruit top talent at QB, if Kirby gets the reputation of playing his favorites and not the best player.
But, as I have said before, if Stet is the best of the bunch, Georgia has some problems we don't know about yet. I hope he has the game of his life this weekend.
Stet came into the 2nd half of the Arkansas game with zero first team reps during practice and exponentially outperformed Mathis.
And even though he's been turnover prone the past couple of games he's at least been moving the chains.
I'm ready for a change at QB as well but I don't think this has anything to do with Kirby playing favorites.

UF is anticipating some suspensions from the brawl yesterday. Wonder how much that’s impacting the spread.
