I agree with next year. You're an idiot to think the year after. Who knows how these recruits will develop.

This is one of the dumbest things I've read.
What has been a lateral move? Steele getting over $500k+ per year? Moving to San Antonio to start your head coaching career? Moving to Lincoln or Tallahassee to become head coach?
You're a fricking idiot.

Damn, missed that one. Would have been preferable to a naked bro. OT 10 I assume?

Didn't he get expelled? I'm assuming the guy is mid 30s now - do people still give him shite for that? I'm sure I would if I were his buddy.

The cop was a female. The streaker was a male. I'm talking about the female cop's hat. Clearly the streaker wasn't wearing a hat (or anything else for that matter.)

2004 season opener vs Oregon State was my first LSU game (incoming freshman from out of state.) Had heard LSU fans were nuts. Game day was there, we had just won the NC, had never seen tailgating like that. Walk into student section, smells of bourbon. Game was delayed for rain. Kids start running on the field then someone decides to streak. A cop is escorting the streaker out under the student section and covering his family jewels with her hat then decides frick it, you did this to yourself and puts her hat back on. Game went to overtime and we won off a missed PAT if I recall correctly. Stadium went nuts.
That's when I understood what I had heard about LSU football being crazy and I've been hooked ever since.

What's the other off the field stuff?
I guess I only saw one video but I haven't spent any time looking.

I saw the one video supposedly of him drunk in a hotel or something but are there lots of reports of him drunk around CS or was it just 1 incident where people have blown this up bc it's an easy target?
Serious question

Bumping this - for the damage to recruiting he caused. If he was never planning to fire Les he should have come out earlier in the week. Who cares about his personal policy not to discuss coaching during the year? Miles held an impromptu press conference to discuss his Michigan departure.
Instead, Joe has added a level of insecurity in any recruits head that his job will still be on the line next year. Why would you want to commit 100% when you have serious doubts about who your coach will be?
I'm not saying he shouldn't have fired Les - but if he wasn't going to he should have come out sooner. The Jimbo talk was ridiculous and is a complete lateral move.
Furthermore, after ruining the Duke Lacrosse players reputation, failing to stand by his students, and firing an awesome Lacrosse coach for what turned out to be a completely fabricated indictment he should have never been allowed to be the AD of LSU. It was a move up and ridiculous - after botching the job that bad at Duke he should have never been allowed to be the AD at LSU - he should have been the AD and University of North Texas or an athletic department around that size - certainly not one of the largest athletic departments in the country.

Florida. We dominated play in that game even against their monster defense.

Over/Under Combined Pass Attempts: 42

With the rain does either team still try to air it out or do both stick to the ground? Coker is prone to turning it over but LSU secondary is prone to being out of position.
Jake Coker averaging: 28 att/game
Brandon Harris averaging: ~18 att/game
If you take out Ole Miss game with all the turnovers Coker is averaging ~25/game
I'm going with the under.

re: Any idea how to watch the game if you're in England????
Posted by 3rdRowTrashTalker on 11/6/15 at 7:58 pm
I'm in France.
The game isn't on ESPN so obviously that is out (although ESPN Player is fantastic... The Watch ESPN app is different and doesn't work here.)
CBS Sports is Geoblocked.
However, if you're using an iPad/iPhone/Android you can download Puffin browser and watch it on CBS. This renders flash on their own servers (US) so geolocation isn't an issue - it's a tad choppy.
If you're like me though and you have your computer connected to a TV you'll need to either VPN or use First Row Sports (install simple adblock for chrome before going to the last site.)
