re: What percent hold past massive gains

So I think about this topic a lot when dreaming about my home run investments lol.. I saw a post once that described any early BTC holders, you pretty much have to be a diagnosable SOCIOPATH to still be holding... It's this reason I often think about how I wish there was brokerages/investment vehicles that LOCK UP the investment, meaning you are not allowed to take it out until a date you specify...I would use that....

Looked into it a little further and turns out Long Term Capital Gains tax is 0% if your taxable income is less than $47k if you file taxes as single and $94k if you file as married and joint.

Wait, what ? Really ? I've never heard this ?

The reason there are so many buyers right now is folks are realizing the upside on this one could be many, many multiples in the short term, and a large part of the financial system of the future with unknown pricing possibilities.
Trump needs to change his mind here quickly, there couldn't be a worse choice.

I haven't paid much attention to XRP since 2017. It shot up to over $3 and was all the rage. After that, Its pretty much been dead money. It didn't even take out its all time hi's in 2021. I know some of that is due to legal battles, but you have to wonder if XRP is really even needed at this point considering the success of stable coins. Of course I may be clueless at to what purpose XRP serves. I has had a nice pump, but you have to wonder if coins like XRP and ADA will be able to get back to their former glory with so many newer projects out there.

All valid general points, which is why I was hoping to have a discussion here, to gain more insight

Decentralized digital currency will never be the standard currency, especially ones that exist today

I agree with this
want to make sure I understand, you are saying digital currently will never one day be the standard ?
so you think the powers that be are just sitting on the sideline and not trying to influence the monetary systems of the future, all while blockchain and crypto innovation grows and grows... the better wheel wins in the end, and they know that.
It would be wilder to think things like you describe ARE NOT happening, have you not been paying attention the last few years? Thats the way the world works.
