cross country, swimming, tennis (mens and womens) golf (womens), womens basketball, volleyball, not so sure...but if majors, yes
great job OP, wish we had guys who spent their whole careers analyzing this and winning 80% of the time so you did not have to tell us all whats best for the team..how many hours did you spend watching tape and working with Melvin and Kenny? thanks
I agree with Ballard we would be better than 10-8, but also realize we did not have to play KSU (likely loss) so it kind of evens out. In any case anyone know why the trny thing got canceled..weird...never did hear but what a mess and must have been a major downer for the team, although they did get some beach time, you prepare for 3 games and only get to play one..again, why did the trny get some messed up?
See my post, not a nicki hater, just not a believer, but am man enough to give credit when due and the last few weeks it is more than due...like I said woman can coach....so here is one cricket who loves the last few weeks and hopes it continues, I am still not a believer in NC, but hope she proves me wrong...
The woman can coach, as I have always said, and I honestly hope I'm wrong about where program is and is headed, but great win and real shot at NCAAs, from where we were a few weeks ago to today, congrats to coach, players etc. and fun game to watch, great win....
Now all fans, star showing up to these games, we need to get fan support back,

lsualum....I care! 75% of the posts dont care and make fun of womens sports, tell me 10 + things about the program in past 2.5 years

2 sweet 16's..VERY positive
2 NCAA's- good, but expected
won at UT, always a good thing....

do you have 7 more to offset what I said..oh and I can add
off court issues with players and a male coach harrasing youn women at a bar (GREAT for recruiting), below .500 in sec, terrible (right?) recruiting)...still have not hired for vacant assistant coach...
9-8 in year 4, nice win and the win over Vandy was good too...if they can keep winning great but the facts are

9-8 in year 4 of NC
RPI 80-90 depending on which service
this was thier first win over a top 50 RPI team in last 7...1-7 last 8 games
last year was the first sub .500 sec record in 17 years
we are 3-2 in sec so far and not likley to make ncaa's for 2nd time in 20 years
NC is still NC, arrogant, at times lazy and mostly disliked in the AD building for these reasons...if she wins big who cares, shes not..and has yet to..in yr 4

Now, credit is due for the solid win, but when they finish below .500 in sec this year again...AND next and miss ncaa's both years, where will you be..

if Im worng Ill be right here saying I was wrong
and in any case, as always I will support the team and go to most home games and keep my season tickets
but NC is IMHO taking the program to new lows in many ways..most importantly on the court..UALR, 3 of 4 losses to Tulane, etc
one win is one win
Lsualum, in the middle of year 4 do you think NC has done an acceptable job? Do you think we will make ncaa this or next year? Is it still Bushs fault?
She makes $700 not $1mm but as I have been saying for some time, while she IMHO can coach at times, the program is in ruins and last year's sec 7-9 record was worst in 15 years and this year will be worse, she is lazy, arrogant and most importantly is setting new 20 year lows for our program, this year or next after we finish in near sec bottom she will be gone and saintsfan and lsualum will be faced with the facts, she was a terrible hire and set us back a long way..as for the A&M assit at, he only wants to be an asstt and as much as I'd like to see it, he does not have a college degree so he won't be hired..so the home ncaa games have acted to cover up her many weaknesses for another few months or so...she will not even make NCAAs this year or next...or if she stays the year after, no talent coming in
Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida and Bama are horrible, could still go .500 in conf, not likley, but possible, if we get Ballard back.
also, title IX related, in 2005 same report, womens bbal lost 1.2mm, 2013 it lost 3mm+, "other sports" lost $5mm in 2005, and lost $12mm in 2013. Costs more and more to have the non-revenue sports. It is what it is, but wow. (and again, I support most womens' sports and go to the games etc)

Well there's Title IX for starters, and perhaps the recruits they were going after last year were in locations that required higher travel budgets?

And I just looked at the report. WBB spent $1500 more...so 1% more. Give me a break.

im not saying it is wrong just did not know it was this way, figured you should spend somewhat proprtinate to what you make, but guess thats Titl IX, and assume we are not out of line with others.
we have been to 15 straight bowl games and 15 winning years in a row in football
Wow, some interesting stuff in this public audit by the state- for example in 2013, Womens basketball spent more then men's to recruit. Is this a title IX thing? If so fine, but wow....see page 12, am I reading this right? I'm a big fan of WB program (depsite not liking our current coach)but in no way should we spend same as men...

I think Alleva haters are to a large degree Les fans, but let's face it Les record is MUCH better at doing his job than Joe's is....
kind of a "must win" if we are going to have any shot at postseason, but cathcing Vandy with one day less rest and off a loss to UT, this is very winnable-maybe worst Vandy team in 10+ years.

btw, our rpi is 160! wow, we need Ballard back
Wow, lost track of UGA's Chubb 1500+ yards and 7.1 ypc and with, Payne, Collins and Williams all having more yards and ypc than LF. Now I think LF is very capable of rushing for 2,000 (really) in a year, but to start next season he may not be even in SEC top two pre-season teams..
How many times is this stupid article going to be posted?

am genuinely sorry I posted it after it had been posted...but do think it is an interesting read...
If so, it destroys faith

good point, but doubt everyone will ever believe, just look at the world today, some think OJ is innocent, 911 is US plot and that Ole Miss will some day win a SEC championship in football again after 51 years...
Article in Wall Street Journal basically showing how science can be used to support that we were not randomly created- that there is a God.

Look, I'm NOT preaching or trying to solve any God vs. no God argument, just think this is an interseting thought- that the chances of us being randomly created and/or the chance of other life forms or the big bang being a random event are near if not zero-based on science.
