As an Aggie, who cares? I'm glad we kept Jimbo and think he's a great coach.
Corndogs don't think he's a great coach and are glad they got the angry Yankee. Everyone is happy.
As for who's right, time will tell but no one on this board can say for sure what happened or who came out ahead....

Sumlin was a good coach. We were rolling until he went away from the air raid and brought in Mazzone and his RPO offense. Had we stuck with the air raid and given Kyler the starting job he’s likely still our coach.

I liked Sumlin but we were soft. Jimbo hasn’t won big yet but he’s built a culture. We have recruited well, best in our history, and are likely a QB away.
I wish we won more for sure but over his 4 years here we’ve closed the talent gap on LSU and Bama.

Our O is sporadic and Ole Miss is talented. I can see us winning close, or losing close but I don’t see a blowout either way. Hopefully we get a good game against a healthy Corral. Dude is fun to watch...

Bottom line the top 10% of Texas kids that want in get in to A&M. tu lowered there’s to 6%.
My kids in HS now (10 to 25% at a top HS in Austin) and likely won’t get into A&M so will be forced to consider God help me LSU and Arky.
A&M is big because Texas is and shite tons of Texans want to go h...

It sucks, and really it’s a failed leftover of Rick Perrys bid for the presidency. He rolled out the Sanderson plan which said state schools should serve the state and basically forced us to increase enrollment. Everyone with a degree already is against it in my experience....

Not dealing with the sips the last 10 years was glorious. That said, now that they’ve decided to follow us im looking forward to it.
I just don’t hate any other schools like I hate tu.
And OU is a good road trip, good fans. I’m glad they’re joining....
