Why are you ok with overseas slave labor just to slightly lower consumer prices?

Also prices will not just necessarily sky rocket. The US is a big enough economy that there will be competition that will hold prices in check. If domestic producers start taking advantage of domestic consumers they will then be at risk of domestic competition.
I love Coca-Cola.

I do not think you should be able to use government assistance to buy soda.
Would Steph exist today if Shaq would have changed the game in the early 2000s?

They most certainly started allowing zone defense because Shaq broke the NBA. The zone defense started pushing the league to more perimeter offense and the loss of the great big men.
I do not see a big jump in the value of the experience with a new arena; however, it will come with crazy cost increases.

I have always enjoyed going to the games and never have perceived an issue with the arena.
The U.S. should just pull out of NATO and be an independent country.

And Jordan would be even better into today's NBA where you can't hand check or play physical defense. Jordan was a skinny guy and took a beating back in the day. In today's kinder/gentler NBA he would be an absolute freak show. He would literally score at will. Today's NBA is a 3 point shooting contest. Today's NBA guys would have no clue how to deal with the likes of Jordan.

This tale completely ignores the reality that you couldn’t play zone defense. In the Jordan era they would overload one side of the court and let people dominate in an isolation style of play.

Shaq then came along and completely broke the NBA and they started letting teams play zone defense.

Then players started playing smarter and spreading the floor with three point shooting. The level of shooting skill has kind of killed some enjoyment in the NBA because people are just so good.

The offense and defense is way better and more complex than it was back in the day. The best players are even more skilled than back then.

It really is Space Jam and Dream Team nostalgia that causes people to hate on the perception of the skill and talent of the NBA. Players also generally treat it as a business instead of a passion now, but that can be seen across US society in every job. People don’t identify with what they do anymore.

Lebron would have dominated at his size and skill in the 80s and 90s. He would have feasted on iso ball. The guy also changed his game to evolve with the NBA and continued to dominate.
I would choose engineering at any of the schools. It really does not matter the school.

Really it would be best to just go to the cheapest. LSU and Mississippi State at least wouldn’t be cold.

1993 looks a hell of a lot different than 2025 for kids that age. I was 11 when this came out. an 11 year old today would laugh at us talking about cassette tapes and VCRs and such. No internet. No on demand TV

1993 was still the neighborhood kids playing outside football, basketball, baseball, street hockey, etc. all day everyday

CNN has always been super biased. I assume you recognized you changed and it wasn’t actually CNN.

In 1988 out of state tuition at GT was $1500 per quarter, so $4500 per year. That's $13,584 in today's dollars, current tuition for GT is $34,174. That's not sustainable.

The reality is there is no need to spend $34,000+/year for an engineering degree. It is propaganda.

In state tuition for LSU, UGA, and GT is ~$12,000/year.
I think Elon Musk just want to be a real life Tony Stark.

It seems coordinated to me. Authorizing programs would be there to make sure the program is effective in managing the money allocated. If they stopped reviewing them that just means they were allowing abuse of the financial grants on the highest order.
I really do not think he gets close to the officiating that allowed him to play defense like he did in a different market.
It was more they got to take off and rest up for a tournament with limited travel in it.

Did the Lakers have advantages other teams didn’t have in 2020? People are asking…

Their flaw as a team was that they were extremely top heavy and lacked depth. They were also a much older team where injuries/long season/travel was expected to impact their success.

Covid year hid and took away the thing that was expected to keep them from being successful and a true contender.

So you are cool with taking advantage of people of other countries to make things cheaper for you to buy at the store?

How big is your family and how much water do you have on hand?
