I cannot stress how SHOCKED my fellow alums are with this move. This is so counter to the "Carolina Way" and our stuffy, too-good-for-football PTB and certain fans.

I've lived in ATL for almost 40 years within 4 or so miles from the Tech campus. It is without a doubt the #1 asset of the State of Georgia and it's not even close. Just ask Gov. Kemp and any CEO of a Georgia based fortune 500 company.
I was so happy for Tech, and their fans, this past Saturday...

"No problem" advancing in that environment? Really. The series ended with Arkansas hitting a walk off single to win the game 4 to 3 over the Heels for the Super Regional win.
Oh by the way, Arkansas had a dog pile celebration at second base as part of its extended celebration. I think it's fin...

I don't think UNC would have celebrated the way they did but for the circumstances. It was a terrific regional and the trio of games against LSU which definitely had a Super Regional feel to it. UNC defeated an LSU team playing very well as defending National Champions. Not a ho hum win. :nana:...

Agree, this in no way compares to the 2012 NCAA tourney when the Creighton goon broke Kendal Marshall's hand, killing our chances in the FF....

Truthfully, most UNC fans I know who are attending the Regional are excited to have the Tigers and their fans at the Bosh this weekend. SEC West fans are at a different level of fandom and it's nice to have that atmosphere travel to UNC. It will cause our fans to pick up their game....

UVA wins lot of games because Bennett is a good coach. But they benefit in league games, particularly road games, because the ACC refs allow his team to get away with holding, grabbing, bumping and moving screens.

UNC would never be anything better than middle tier. We are well aware of this fact.
We all know it but we need the SEC for our athletic dollars and to continue supporting our 28 teams. Plus we need $$ to keep our basketball program elite.
Nobody wants to go to the BIG other than our college a...

UNC fans are well aware of our issues with Ga Tech. It's a riddle that can't be solved. (until this year hopefully).
UNC is the only team that has defeated 5 P5 programs (all by 10+ pts) this season and our strength of schedule is ranked #13....
