re: Turf fields are terrible

Water situation in Austin is horrible. Turf is actually a lot cheaper for them to manage than grass
Google Texas A&M alternatives for 2015. Yes it’s real
Remember when they had glow in the dark uniforms and it was a day game?
I worked it circa 2005-07 ish and it was freaking awesome. Can only understand it wasn’t was it use to be bc of NIL situations.
Do it.

I was in Vegas for a conference early 2019. Flight got delayed and ended up killing time at a sports book. Burrow was 300:1 and I had $100 emergency cash to burn. Went to make the bet and my ride showed up so I got out of line. Been kicking myself since.

Came to post this.

They could have done better but I got a chuckle or two.

Buddys ESPN account.

ETA: Sorry at first I thought it said basketball, and said with a stiff drink.

re: Got any Aggie Jokes?

Maybe for the older crowd, may get banned for it …cracks neck…

How many Aggies does it take to build a structural bonfire???

Don’t worry they don’t know either.

Same. He taught me some stuff I would have not learned anywhere else.
Learning who he was, and putting that into perspective that he took time to personally teach me, a nobody place kicker (not even his forte)
Dude was a legend and his name needs to be spoken so future generations understand his impact on the game.
Can we get a travel win bar to temporarily put up on the opponents or away from home venues?
I have his cards as well. I was at my parents house last weekend and my son and I went up in the attic and got them, and I gave it them to him. Was a really great experience to explain to him who Shaq was.

My dad use to be friends with an old Video Connection store owner. He gave me an advertisement piece of a life size poster of Shaq. It had it on my wall throughout my childhood next to my bunk bed, for size reference…lol.

I worked at the PMAC during college and got to meet him multiple times and he’s one of the nicest people you will meet. Really awesome when your childhood idol turns out to be what you expect them to be.
Hard pill to swallow but O.

Give me three crap years, for one year of immortal glory, every four years. On colleges biggest stage, yea check please.

Vacated maybe was the wrong term. “Playing for anything important”, should have been the words I should have used. But you and those reading this got the point.

You do realize anything we do in the next two years will probably be vacated anyway.

Might as well get some talent to put some seats in the seats and then ride.

Would be a good sales pitch to the 5* divas as well. We won’t over work you for a meaningless NC when your 18-19. Come play and develop. We win, we win. But let’s put on a show in the meantime

F it go after Calipari

Posted by LSUTigerDDS on 3/17/22 at 9:29 pm
Kentucky fans want him gone.

Not a Cal fan but imagine it.

Woodward gets his whale, relatively cheap situation wise.

We can partner with Nike and sign a bunch of huge NIL deals with perspective One-and-dones. (All on the table so the NCAA can’t do a thing, so they get theirs).

Easy sales pitch. You don’t have to win a championship, just go to two final fours and they name a floor after you.

Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire…

I have come 180 on him. So glad to have been so wrong.

And like he said in his post game, “I had four fouls, but I couldn’t let him get that. I went up and a good no call by the refs”

re: Glen West On Pinson’s Injury

So he sits out Florida and Arkansas, then is back for Alabama? I would take that in a heartbeat, rest him until fully healed. We need him full strength and not fighting lagging injuries if we plan on making a tournament run.
