Yep. Perfect response.
That’s the part people seem to miss. The world is better for it ...
re: For other Catholics, on the immigration situation?
Posted by Moustache on 10/6/24 at 2:35 pm
Catholic Charities USA is an NGO not officially supported by the Catholic Church. The bishops in the U.S. are just too cowardice to call them out.
Also, most of their members are a nose away from being Catholic when looking at their last names. ...
It can also involve the creation of life. But comparing it to euthanasia still seems super normal
It’s in the same group. Euthanasia is deciding who lives and dies. If you don’t see the slippery slope there, I can’t help you. Remember when the lgbtq movement was just about getting ...
re: Are the Rams still doing that "who's house" skit?
Posted by Moustache on 9/23/24 at 12:45 pm
For chargers, it’s because they literally have no fans.
For rams it’s a combo of less fans and that away teams who travel go to LA to see their team
For saints/cowboys/raiders, it’s because their city or stadium is kind of a tourist destination that brings a lot of away fans...
re: We don’t want to admit it, but Shedeur has that IT factor
Wouldn’t draft him in the first round.
If his dad wasn’t Deion, I would in a heartbeat. Incredible he got that ball off.
Problem is, he is a prima Donna and Deion would talk mad shite about the coaches and organization the minute things aren’t going well. Would blame the scheme,...
We don’t want to admit it, but Shedeur has that IT factor

Considering the scheme is terrible and the line is terrible, he really makes some great plays.
Delivering that Hail Mary knowing he was about to get lit up was incredible. ...
re: Mel Kiper says the NFL is being ruined by the two-high safeties
Posted by Moustache on 9/19/24 at 1:11 pm
The problem is teams can’t run because they went smaller on OL and OL are not experienced run blockers in college.
The other problem is these new qbs and offenses in college are not teaching young qbs well. They can’t throw over the middle, so consider a cover 2 works. ...
re: Burrow will never get to the top as long as Taylor is the HC
Posted by Moustache on 9/16/24 at 10:06 am
First it was the line, now it’s the coaching.
Elite QBs make it happen no matter what.
Good/slightly above avg qbs need coaching (Carr, Purdy, Darnold)
Granted, I think Taylor’s scheme is arse, but Burrow kept creeping up into trouble and must think he is faster than he is. Must’ve been 3 ...
re: Why are conservatives ignoring Catholic Churches are the ones bringing in illegals
Posted by Moustache on 9/10/24 at 9:18 am
Catholic Charities USA is bringing them in, not individual parishes or dioceses. Our church leaders and bishops are too cowardice to condemn it. Or they’re taking kick backs because humans are corrupt.
Doesn’t make the church teachings not the truth. The Catholic leaders have done far worse thru h...

re: I wanted to hate on Shedeur Sanders.

Let’s slow our roll. It’s a fricking fcs team and he has two WRs that run a 4.4 vs ndsu’s guys running 4.8-4.9 at cb.
Most of these WRs are wide the frick open.
Now, has he looked good? Yes absolutely. But let’s not crown him like yall did last year after the TCU game...

Not a criticism, just saying he will need to get the ball out sooner. He is holding it 4-5 seconds ...
re: I wanted to hate on Shedeur Sanders.
Posted by Moustache on 8/29/24 at 8:36 pm
He is pretty good, but he isn’t that elusive against elite talent. He is gonna have to process and not play off script so much. But some of that is out of necessity right now.
Biggest reason I wouldn’t touch him if I was an nfl team is because of his dad.
If he starts to do poorly, Deion wou...

Jet sweep
Screen pass
Zone run up middle
Almost never. And look how many nfl teams have fricked up recently thinking they could recreate that.
Not disputing, but what examples?
Trey Lance? My theory is the media bullied the 49ers into that pick.
Anthony Richardson? Jury is still out.
Will Levi’s? Showed some pr...
Guys who can play off script like Allen, Mahomes, Lamar, Purdy, etc. give you an option between the play and throwing it away that's a huge edge. Offenses today embrace this, while they thought it was a negative in the past.
Agreed that it is a weapon to be able to play off script....
