Another blind follower of BK. To each his own I guess.

Kelly’s track record on assistant coach hiring has been abysmal.
Don’t forget that Kelly has an abysmal record against ranked teams as well.

Problem is this is Kelly's offense and he just wants someone to run it
Kelly has always struck me as an incredibly lazy coach who expects his assistants to do all of the gameplanning/scheming. He’s even admitted himself that he doesn’t like X’s and O’s when it comes to coaching.
He wants to be a hands-off CEO style coach. That only works when you have both elite talent and elite coordinators.

For a coordinator who had no prior P4 experience + breaking in a new QB, his offense wasn’t that bad statistically. You can only hope for growth schematically.
2 months ago, all of you were wanting him to be fired. What caused you to change your minds? He simply isn’t cut out to be an OC.

Enjoy it. That’s the last ring you clowns will see for a good while

Any update on when his inevitable firing will be?
This team desperately needs a top OC if we want to win anything of significance next season

Player roster has been underwhelming overall. There have been some bright spots but not overall.
People on here can downvote you all they want but they know it’s true. JD5 was the bread and butter of this team in 2022 and 2023. There were numerous occasions where he singlehandedly won games by himself. When he left, this team took a massive step backwards and now Kelly is struggling to find a breakout star who can elevate our competition. Underwood was 100% going to be that guy until he flipped.

Dune suffers from the same problem that so many other high-budget epic films from the post-COVID era have: too many cardboard-cut characters with very little character development. More power to you if you enjoyed it, but I just prefer to watch films that focus on a very small group of characters. With less characters in a story, room for character arcs opens up a lot.

This sentence would be easier to stomach if we hadn't seen you championing the quality of Monster's Ball this weekend.
Halle Berry won a fricking academy award for her performance in Monsters Ball. She gave everything she had for that performance. Same with Billy Bob.
Are you honestly going to sit and argue that some piece of shite film like Dune 2 is better than a simple drama that has 2 Academy Award winners? Timothee Chalomet is one of the most overrated actors of all time. Sick of seeing that motherfricker’s name in the media. Dude can’t act for shite, not to mention he has a punchable face.

There is legitimately not one single movie from the last three years that was even remotely “enjoyable” to watch. Everything is trash. It’s been nothing but monsterverse films, MCU films, and cheesy slasher films. Screenwriting has massively declined in quality since the pandemic and it’s why I don’t even bother going to the theater anymore unless there’s a re-release of a classic.

I wouldn’t put it past Saban at all to steal signs from opponents in order to gain an advantage. He’s the slimiest cocksucker to have ever coached college football.
The biggest red flag was him pulling in a #3 rated recruiting class the year after he went 7-6. Alabama hadn’t had a top 10 recruiting class in over 10 years and was on the verge of being an obsolete program. Then Saban comes in and immediately pulls in a top 5 recruiting class his very first year. Yeah, totally not strange at all.
EDIT: All of the gump lurkers on here can frick off. Your program isn’t shite now.

Don’t really care who the new DC will be for them. This game is a must win for Kelly. If Kelly manages to frick up and drop a sixth straight opener in a row, he’ll be coaching for his job next year.

I'm pretty sure they were approached by conferences in higher divisions at that time, but Larry Kehres wouldn't do i
Mount Union has a pitiful endowment rate of less than $150,000,000. They simply don’t have the money to put together a higher athletic budget that would allow for them to move up to Division 2 and give out scholarships.
To put in perspective, Larry Kehres was making $120,000 annually in his final years as HC at Mount Union. That’s probably in the 99th percentile of Division 3 football coaching salaries. The athletic budgets at most colleges in that division are so low that most of them don’t pay their head coaches a livable salary.
Most of the sports revenue from D3 schools comes from recruiting students to play on sports teams. It’s why the tuition at those tiny liberal arts colleges are 35k-40k a year.

If Larry Kehres was still the AD for Mount Union, this current clown of a head coach they have would be fired right after the game

It’s insane how undersized D3 players are. I read somewhere that the average height of an OL on a D3 team is like 6”0 - 6”1. At the D2 level, it goes up to 6”2 or 6”3 I think.

They were a powerhouse when Leipold was coaching there. When he left to coach in the FBS, they’ve pretty much gone back to being a mediocre program.

I never could get into the LOTR trilogy. If you’re into high-fantasy films like Highlander then I could see why LOTR is appealing.

Say what you want about the 05 King Kong film, but I thought it was a really good story. People forget that Kong isn’t some crazy monster who wants to wreck havoc no reason, he’s a tragic anti-hero who was provoked by greedy filmmakers.
