re: Should Cowan be the Sunday starter?

Yes. Let shores gain some confidence with midweek innings. He can be a 4th starter come post season. He's generally been ineffective in SEC play

He was also criticizing Shores’ lack of control of his off speed and then the next pitch strikes him out with a slider. He ain’t wrong but that was pretty ironic

Thatcher Hurd
I get your point here; he was great during that post season run. Couldn't have won it without him, but the vast majority of Hurd's sample size was him not commanding off speed pitches and throwing 96mph. Thatcher was that, then he wasn't that for 3 weeks, then he was that again in 2024.
Floyd took off in 2023 because he developed a secondary pitch. He finished the year 7-0. Comparing the two is a huge insult to Floyd imo

Plus only dumbasses believe they are actually throwing 98. That is maybe 95 by the old guns used in the 80’s and 90’s because the ball is being picked up at the hand as opposed to in flight.
So are you saying that the technology for the guns was better 30-40 years ago than it is today? I'm genuinely asking because that sounds illogical.

You trusting our bullpen to go 6-7 innings? He’s sucked. But they sucked last night too

My pops told me he used to go sit in the stands and study at baseball games in the late 70s because there was essentially no one there.

I must’ve missed her jail stint or her assault charges. Oh wait, that’s not what you meant

No, she was a you know what you know what when she was here and she’s just a bigger you know what you know what now.
Jesus Christ man just say the word if you’re going to make it all about race.
She’s always spoken her mind which rubs a lot of those “get off my lawn types” like are all over this thread the wrong way.
She won games at LSU so I appreciated her. Now she’s not here and is obviously tone deaf on the status of the WNBA and its value. If it weren’t for social media, no one would even be talking about her or the league.
re: Yoder Smokers - Anyone have any experience with these?

FIL got me a Grilla Grills Alpha for my birthday several years ago. Grilla also has a small mobile option called a Chimp that would fit on a counter and is pretty cost affordable. Used to be made in America but not anymore unfortunately

You can always tell who doesn't watch one bit of college baseball outside of LSU
Lynn gets a little old at times but no one is worse than Karl Ravech calling the CWS. That dude doesn’t know anything about college baseball, yet they put him and Eduardo Perez in there for the biggest post season games of the year
re: What is the floor for McHallman to get another year after 2026

That’s literally the ceiling for next year and is not to be expected

If it's the thread I'm thinking of, it was someone claiming to know the family and he was going to transfer because he wasn't getting a chance in the middle infield.
Appreciate the fact check. Must’ve pulled that one out my arse

That performance was incredible by Herring after Coleman texted Jay saying he wanted the ball then absolutely shite a brick against Wake. Thought we were cooked.

Anyone have any insight here?
Wasn't his dad posting on here last year insinuating that he/other pitchers didn't get along with Yeskie? Wouldn't make sense to sit out his money year, but wasn't the word also that he wanted to be considered for weekend rotation this past fall?

Was there any truth to the rumor he had an $8mil NIL deal lined up at LSU? Was living in MS while he was a senior when someone told me that, but he was a known exaggerator. I could never find any articles or anything mentioning that figure. Seems a little farfetched for a baseball player

They still have obligations to fulfil.
Finally got around to watching The Money Game on prime this week. Interesting that the obligations seem to be things like 2 snapchat stories, an instagram post, and an instagram story at least for people like Livvy Dunne.
Obviously, there are other situations that require things like a photoshoot, but it was a little sad to watch them all act exasperated by those requirements like it was taking a lot out of them.

Live in Nashville and generally jump at any chance to watch the Tigers. Not even considering it
