While I would love to win every game, I’m also reasonable and know that no one is going undefeated in college baseball. Through the first 20 games, I couldn’t be happier for the Vols with the way the season has started through the first 20 games.

Vols made to many mistakes to win tonight. Can’t leave bases loaded with less than 2 outs and not score. Vols left 4 runners on in scoring position the first 2 innings. Then they made 3 errors in the first 3 innings and Bama capitalized on them. Not saying the Vols beat themselves tonight, but they didn’t do themselves any favors. By time the Vols and Beam settled in, the damage had been done, and Vols couldn’t get it going.


I haven’t been to many SEC baseball stadiums, but is it normal for a SEC college baseball stadium to only have 2 concession for the entire stadium? Out of the stadiums I have been to, Bama stadium had the worst food services and beer service I have ever experienced. They had a kiosk set up above A section that sold ice cream, and another one that sold beer. But they was out of pop corn before the game even started, and the nachos was nasty as frick. I know Lindsey Nelson isn’t perfect, but our food services is alot better than what I experienced tonight.

Also, I didn’t know Bama had an Airplane hanger on campus behind the baseball stadium. Learn something new everyday. Are they the only campus with an airplane hanger on campus?

We are talking about the last 4 years. A lot has happened in the last 4 years that has changed the landscape of college athletics. Some coaches are able to keep up, and some coaches struggle and don’t like the changes. Last 6 post season games for UK, they are 2-4. And that’s including SEC, and NCAA tournament combined.

UK is a storied program no doubt. But the last 4 years, multiple teams have passed them and UK now has Regular Season Cal.

1 SEC Tournament win last 4 years.
Top 5 class every year last 4 years
Most talent than anyone else last 4 years

And yet Regular Season Cal pisses down his leg now when it’s tournament time.

Tennessee had come questions about its rotation coming into the season. Vitello and Frank Anderson goes to Jacksonville Alabama and takes JSU best player and turns him into the top pitcher in the SEC so far.
