I know the Auburn starting five was one year younger on average than the OKC Thunder (youngest team in the NBA at start of season) starting five.

With NBA teams tanking right now, makes me wonder if there is a starting lineup in the NBA even younger than OKC's.

A&M should just pluck McCasland from Tech

Never gonna happen, His wife graduated from Tech, and he has his Masters from there. The only job he would go to would be Baylor and thats not happening because Scott Drew is a top 10 coach.
Fenway. You come out through the tunnel behind home plate and it's as if the whole world opens up in that moment.

One more. When the doctor asks him "How did you feel about what happened yesterday?" and his response is to feign a crazy person trailing off in their thoughts :rotflmao:

From the moment that McMurphy tries to get one more vote to watch the World Series until after the fishing trip, is probably my favorite stretch of film acting ever.

you do see the vacuum you are looking at your conference in, right? Considering the only ones with sustained success are Bruce Pearl and John Calipari. but Beard, Barnes, Oats, and Golden are quality

Coaching is fantastic everywhere, just look at the Big 12, Bill Self, Scott Drew, and Kelvin Sampson are all seen as top 10-12 coaches in the game.

You act like we’re playing with some special deck or something. Why aren’t the other leagues better now? They h
can have Covid players too

Special deck? No I just think the SEC chest beating after dominating the SEC/ACC head to head at the beginning of a season is a little premature considering the SEC haven't won a title in over a decade. :dunno: And are probably about to get waxed by Duke. An ACC team
quote:

Duke has been crushing their opponents with 3 freshmen, a junior, and a senior transfer from Tulane. It doesn't take long to build a championship caliber team.

It doesn't, but the blue bloods will continue to get their choice of players and schools that don't have good football or baseball programs will commit more to their basketball programs.

In a way it's unfortunate for the SEC schools to be so good at the big 3. Look at the rumors about Nate Oats leaving Alabama. He doesn't feel as if he is getting a fair shake when Bama football is so important
quote:

Did...you read the OP or any part of the thread at all? We're talking about conferences here. The SEC had half the Elite 8 and half the Final 4 this season, 7 teams in the sweet 16, and 14 of 16 teams made the NCAAT. That is a solid record and foundation "as a conference."

Oh I read it and I challenge it

Thanks to the last year of covid players, alot of teams are older, Auburn has grown men out there.. I mean Kelly is 24, Baker-Mazara is 25

Look at the number of starting seniors that are graduating on the top teams in the SEC, this doesn't include underclassmen going to the draft

Bama (Youngblood, Sears, Nelson, Wrightsell, Omoruyi)
Auburn (Broome, Baker-Mazara, Jones, Kelly)
Florida (Richard, Clayton Jr, Martin)
A&M (Wade Taylor IV, Garcia, Coleman, Hefner, Obaseki)
Kentucky (Carr, Williams, Brea, Butler)
Tennessee (Milicic, Lanier, Zeigler, Mashack)
Arkansas (Davis, Aidoo)
Ole Miss (Pedulla, Davis, Murray, Murrell)

Arkansas will reload because Calipari, so will Kentucky. Bama has a few 5 star recruits mixed in and someone else there will be good.

Let's see what happens to the rest of the teams before crowning them the best college basketball conference. Teams will need to develop new seniors and top prospects have way more distribution amongst conferences than the SEC/Big 10 with football
After Duke/Houston beats Auburn/ Florida we'll need to shift toward whether or not the SEC was as good as advertised.

That was a combination of all 3 but the elbow the most serious.
He’s going back in. OMG. Shades of Willis Reed.

Game 7 of the NBA Finals vs up by 10 in a Final Four game :rotflmao:

I hope he's okay. Probably just a stinger.

I thought elbow hyperextended type of thing

15 losses last year
13 the year before
13 the year before that
15-13 the year before that

And? Teams have down periods, they still made is to the round of 32 the past 3 years and he's on the verge of another Final Four

This is 2025, the game has largely passed him by. Only concern is he, and his players, know it and know this is probably his last chance to get back to a Final 4. Doesn't matter AU is much better and will win.

This is kinda amazing to watch, 8 points in 15 minutes :rotflmao:
