I recently got a Mach E, zero regrets and loving it. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to an ICE vehicle.

Our second vehicle is an XC90 Recharge. That gets anywhere from 30-40 miles on full electric. We tested the waters with that before going full in on an EV.

Isn’t that the place with all the renewable energy, and of so how expensive will it be to replace all of that?

No clue of the costs, but before I moved here it was hit directly by Ian for hours. They had sustained winds of 90mph and gusts in the 140s and never took any real damage. They didn’t even lose internet.
From the local FB groups, pool cages were about the only thing lost outside of some shingles.
We’re getting the southern eyewall now in Babcock Ranch and the wind has definitely picked up. Doesn’t seem too bad though thankfully

Look out for those tornados inland people. They are moving FAST.

Obviously it would suck in either place, but I’m so much more at ease in our concrete block home here in FL than I ever felt in the Midwest. That and the fact that tornados tend to be smaller here.
I’m relatively certain Bieber was underage when he was around diddy, so I’m pretty sure there would be some legality issues trying to shop around a video like that.

I would assume it’s Usher.

Most of the homes in Babcock Ranch have a finished floor elevation of 30 feet or a bit above, depending if you are in the southern or northern part of the community

Yeah, this along with all the other built in hurricane protections is why we initially looked at Babcock when moving from the Midwest. Then we fell in love with the city when visiting.

SE of the bay and just north of 70? That Babcock Ranch?

The one with all the water?

It’s just north of Fort Myers. The photo you have is correct though. And yeah, lots of little lakes/ponds, but they’re all interconnected underground to move water to help avoid flooding.

This is exactly the problem. People think "well I rode out this one or this one and it was a Cat 2/3. How much worse can it be". Much MUCH worse. I promise.

I’m new to FL and riding out my first hurricane. Here’s to hoping we don’t regret it

I’m in Babcock Ranch though. It was hit head on by cat 4 Ian and had no flooding, loss of power/water or even internet. It’s a newly constructed city built with hurricanes in mind. Most of the locals stayed for Ian and based on the local FB groups, next to nobody is leaving for this one. Granted, we’re not expected to take a direct hit this time.

Reporting in from Punta Gorda again

I’m in Babcock Ranch and we had it pretty easy today. We had some early morning rain, but by 10 that was done and didn’t get another drop until this evening. We had steady wind all day, but nothing too bad

Who here held on to their virginity longer than 30?

Homosexuals in hiding, and not a single other person.
From what I understand, because places like Walmart price them out of business

Your hatred and jealousy of Ohio State should be studied.

It really is entertaining

Honestly I think Michigan wins. I’m not very impressed by tOSU this year.
Then again, more recently I’m not as impressed by Michigan either. Early in the season I saw a 14 point victory for UM, now I’m not as sure. I don’t think either team looks amazing.

I also feel that way about most teams this season though. Either way, F*ck Michigan and I’m excited for the game

With that price tag they missed a 1 on the horse power.

Poor people problems. Don’t worry, I’m poor too, I just know enough to realize RR isn’t about horse power. That’s more of a Dodge thing

College gymnastics/nationals isn’t the Olympics.

She has dominated the World Gymnastics Championships ever since what, 2013?

Or it suggests she couldn’t handle the biggest stage there is and she quit.

She also dominated the Rio Olympics.

initially blaming the pressure of the moment but then changing her story to mental health and the twisties after some backlash.

If you watch her in warmups and in the team comp, she definitely didn’t know what she was doing. What you want to blame that on is up to you, but gymnastics is basically all muscle memory and she wasn’t able to do the vault she had planned. You could tell as soon as she was in the air she was lost, which is pretty damn dangerous when you do elements 99% of other gymnasts can’t even attempt.

I would like to think any decent American would care about how athletes represent their nation in international competition. But that's just me.

She’s won the US 7 Olympic medals and has 25 medals on the world stage(mostly gold).
This was a problem in Columbus around 2021. The cops cracked down on it pretty quickly and now I don’t ever see any

For those who doubt these events I hope it never happens to you. Remember, don't rock the boat and put your trust in multi national corporations. I'm sure they will always treat you fairly.

It's all well and good to have your employees backs, but if their job is to communicate with customers and they are not effectively doing that. Then that falls on you as the manager. It's not the customer's fault that the call center was outsourced or that the call center hired employees who were difficult to understand.

Yep. And had he politely requested this in a civil way, I’m sure he wouldn’t be searching for a new bank.

I don’t know a single person who has ever been terminated from banking with any corporation. It’s safe to assume OP was being rude and racist if Chase elevated matters to this point.
